We already have lawlessness, but at governments and investment banks.

I guess when the rubes lie, cheat, and steal it's lawlessness. But when politicians, bankers, and government contractors do it. It's just fine. :)

There is no such thing as 'Lawlessness'. You cannot get rid of 'Law' anymore than you can create it.

Morality existed long before any 'Government' was created, and it continues to exist no matter what 'Law makers' try and do.

Either the 'Law' matches the objective morality of man; In that case it is irrelevant and redundant. A mere 'copy' of what already exists in reality.

Or, 'Law' does not match man's objective morality; In that case it is to be disobeyed and resisted.
