some LIGHT exercise (Walking, and biking) is encouraged for an expecting mother but that??? I can't imagine that type of exercise is good for her or her baby. A fetus takes in a LOT of iron ask any mother who has had a baby how far their iron levels dropped around month 4-5. So the fetus has to compete with the muscles and the bodies increased metabolism for that vital nutrient.

Honestly I don't think this is a big deal. She is much more physically prepared to give birth then most woman. You think our ancestors sat around the house all day eating ice cream while pregnant?

C sections seem to be more and more common these days and it isn't that woman all of a sudden can't have a healthy birth. It because they are overweight and don't have the muscle strength to push well.
