View Full Version : Why does my local coin shop play games?

When I go into my local coin shop on payday to buy an ASE or Silver Maple Leaf, they always act like they don't have any at first, then when they realize I just want to buy one or two, they immediately lighten up and just turn around and grab me one off a stack behind the counter (they're not keeping them in the glass case, since they're apparently pretending that they're out).
Why the shenanigans? Do they just not want to sell while silver is in the low 20's?
Tired of the games...

Do they have expanded metal on the windows and you enter thru a vestibule that lets them 'buzz' you in?

It's been a while since they buzzed people in. They don't do that anymore, now the door is just open.

So they probably don't have much...

Try to find another coin shop. There are two shops I don't go too anymore. They assume I know nothing and treat me the same. I found a decent place where they appreciate my business.

basically. they sound like they do low volume, and so they lose money selling silver at these prices.
they may have loaded up back in April, when Silver spot was $24.
it doesn't mean they're a bad coin shop, necessarily - just not able to help you under these conditions.

Try to develop a relationship with your dealer. There's one dealer I've been going to for years now, we're on a first name basis and there are no games between us, just business.

Its called absolute capitalism.
If I can take you to the fucking cleaners and plunder your ass to the maximum potential possible...and you are too stupid to realize it and after I have ripped you a new one...Then you are shaking my hands with tears of joy streaming down your downs syndrome grinning face because you foolishly think you got what you wanted at the logical conclusion of the reasonable assumption of the exchange for mutual benefit.
I'm happy...and you are happy
This is a legal absolute capitalist exchange for mutual benefit.
That is your problem...
Wake up sheep.

or you can continue worshiping ignorance and continue to play paddy cake with each other while your executioners get their clubs ready for the baby seal hunt at the end.
what is your plan...shelter in place when they crop dust the cities with Ebola to get rid of all the unfundable liabilities?
because that is what you all transform into when you all begin negatively yielding.
Right now you all are still fundable assets.
Invest a dollar into an American slave...an they produce 1.03.
invest a dollar into an American slave and get 99 cents back...and its jigs up.
raise interest rates?
you just spent 32 years investing into avoiding working for a living but living off the yield of others...and you are at 3%
in order to earn a return on investment or a yield of inflation
requires volume.
rates have been dropping for 32 years in search of ever greater amouts of supporting volume.
Rates rise....and the inflationary hyperbubble that has been built up the past 7 decades in the USA.
implodes to oblivion and basically exposes you all to a nightmare beyond your current abilities to fathom.
your life force will be drained from you when you all are exposed to the collapse to oblivion you are headed to.
Whatever you are thinking or doing right now...will rendered irrelevant then.
