“Go home! Go home! They’re blowing up the buildings!”

A video has appeared on the Internet featuring some never-before-seen footage from the events of September 11th, 2001. The video is a series of mashups seemingly taken from multiple sources. It begins with a distant shot of the towers, while the rest of the 14 minutes documents peoples reactions to the explosions. Conversations from incredulous New Yorkers can be heard discussing the events, many registering disbelief about the tragedy that was taking place. The video was just released today and has yet to undergo strenuous tests to verify its authenticity but it is an intriguing insight into the psychology of the people who were there in New York that day.

At abour 1:20 in the video, you can see the WTC building in the background. You can see the camera shake--like from the ground shaking, and almost instantly you see the building start turning into powder. The rest of the video is about people walking around in this powder commenting on what just happened.

I only heard one guy--the clerk at the store/kiosk commenting on how it must have been a very strong bomb to turn the building into powder. The black guys at the basketball court seemed to know it was an inside job on the day it happened.

This video strengthen's my suspicion that it was a nuclear demolition device planted under the buildings. What else would have the force necessary to turn those huge steel buildings into powder and have them cover lower Manhatten in a coat of dust 2-3 inches deep? Apparently the bombs weren't able to pulverize the contents of the topmost floors--which fell to the sidewalk, including all the paper in filing cabinets which were strewn in the wind.

I wonder what it smelled like there close to ground zero. The Japanese who walked around in the ruins of Hiroshima after the blast spoke of an 'electric' smell. That may be a signature of an atmospheric nuclear explosion where the air is ionized en masse. Surely there has to be a signature smell for underground blasts. I would bet those people in the video would have smelled it--not knowing what it is.
