Your payment options include companies: Healthnet, Molina, Blue Cross & Anthem.
These Companies love the Kenyan for forcing us to pay them!!
Here is what it would cost someone like me at these wages:
31 year old @30,000 year salary:
GOOD NEWS. YOU QUALIFY FOR BARRY CARE ASSISTANCE OF $15.00 mo.
Total Monthly Premiums: $225
Monthly Premium Assistance (Tax Credit): $15
Your Total Monthly Payment: $211
31 year old at @50,000 year salary:
SAD NEWS FRIEND, YOU DON'T QUALIFY FOR TAX AID... PAY UP
Total Monthly Premiums: $225
Monthly Premium Assistance (Tax Credit): $0
Your Total Monthly Payment: $225
That's a freaking car payment!
They should make an option for us to buy a new GM car instead for the same price. (oH BUT then we would actually get something for our money... can't do that)
Oh yeah... WITH these premiums YOU STILL HAVE TO PAY $5000.00 deductible for medical
& drugs
Don't get sick!

That is pretty brutal. $50k isn't much for California.
Isn't that much around here either. $30,000 is pretty much poverty.

If this shit stands as it appears right now.
I expect war coming.
There is no way miilions of people are going to pick up 225 a month bill and just eat it.
I just had some work done on my car that was 1100 bucks .i was hot like fire because it was totally unexpected and very much needed
I was cool with the manager and he applied some credits and discounts and knocked my bill down to 840 dollars
Saved me just over 250 bucks.
For the first time in my life i wanted to kiss a man cause that really saved the day
So i am personally aware of what something like is and what the hell i would feel like if it got snatched away
Especially when you told me this shit was going to be "free"
The fuse has officially been lit

Agreed. Everyone I know (many politically apathetic/illiterate) have already decided they can't afford this shit no matter how they crunch the numbers. They are ruined. Multiply that by several million and you (they) have a serious problem on your (their) hands.

Now you see the reason they're being such a sticklers on the individual mandate & medical device tax.
Any change in there and that $225 will go to $260 per those same companies brokered deals.
It will flop all that much sooner, before they have a chance to make everyone eat Soylent green, with the required vaccinations per plan.

Actually very few health issues SHOULD cost more than that to treat effectively... Third party payers have destroyed health care in the last 50 years.

IF it is mandated for U.S. citizens and you happen to be of that political persuasion then follow the law and do your duty. Sign up. But then this legislation IS called the Affordable Care Act so when the bill comes for 225 dollars every month strike out the amount, initial it write in a ZERO and send it in. Doesn't this make the bill affordable?
There is no rocket science here. Ever since gold was removed from the monetary system you have had no way to pay your bills anyway. Said bills are discharged rather than extinguished as previously was done. So DISCHARGE it alright?
If you are a U.S. citizen then you are a communist. You have agreed to share the shortages rather than bask in the surpluses. Your government is going to pay all your bills. Life is sweet so why torture yourself? Accept your political reality and be prepared for government assisted termination when your accounting balance shows mostly RED.

In defending this shitty piece of legislation the Dems are constantly parroting this line (or something like it), "Millions and millions of Americans now have access to healthcare that they didn't have before." Do they mean to say that before the govt stepped in doctors and hospitals wouldn't allow them to be treated? That is was against the law to treat them? Who are these Americans that had "no access"? We have the best and most comprehensive healthcare in the world despite the ever increasing govt involvement. There are more doctors and hospitals per capita here than anywhere in the world. And millions of Americans didn't have access? And to insinuate to the American people that this shit is gonna be free is beyond the pale. I agree with TT, this shit will not turn out good. In the immortal words of The Dude, "I do mind, the Dude minds. This will not stand, ya know, this aggression will not stand, man."

Obama is a liar. The Dems are liars. Nobody seems to care. Maybe they will care now that Obamacare is here? Apparently, lots are logging on and in the few cases where the login screens are functioning almost no one is opting for Obamacare. Maybe now these sheeple understand that Obamacare is a trojan horse, a massive tax increase foisted on the American people in order to prop up a failing social welfare state and healthcare system out of control.
BTW, I pay $1500 per month premium with a $5000 deductable to cover my family. In my region, there is one insurer and no comeptition so I am fucked. Now, everybody will be in the same boat. It is all very sad. What's worst, I had thought about just dropping my insurance entirely. Now with the Obamacare tax penalty I cannot. Do you see how they ahve skillfully caged us into their corrupt overpriced healthcare system?

This is a terrible piece of legislation.
It has been pointed out many times in this forum that this is an extension of the Social Securtiy Act. It is completely voluntary. By participating in Social Security you volunteer to pay income tax, and now Obamacare. By not signing any W-4 form or W-9 form you will not be volunteering for Social Security, income tax or Obamacare.
Every member and many visitors to this forum should be aware of these facts.
With the power of the internet it is possible that enough people may become informed, especially now they are faced with "Obamacare". If that we're to happen and the majority of the people began to "opt out" by refusing to sign W-4 forms or W-9 forms the Social Security system, the income tax and Obamacare would wither and die.
However it is unlikely this will ever come to pas because the masses firstly won't take time away from the TV to educate themselves, and secondly they like the government "taking care of them". As Palani pointed out in this thread, US Citizens are communists.
Many years ago I received a packet of papers from a "tax protester" which included a copy of a letter signed by Senator Harry Reid stating there is no law requiring anyone to have a Social Security number. Of course he continues on in true political speak how difficult life will be without a number. Still the fact remains, even if you have a number there is no law saying you must sign a W-4 or a W-9 form.

Sure, in the absolute all of this is "voluntary." You just have to jump through metaphorical rings of fire to avoid it. In any event, if there was a question about the validity of going off the grid before, Obamacare has sealed the deal. For all the young people out there, I say that you are crazy to participate in the SSI/Obamacare/IRS system. It is a losing proposition for you as you are the last entries into a Ponzi scheme that is near the end. You must live and work off the grid because:
1. Your paycheck is raped by all the payroll taxes like SSI, Medicare, etc. over and above federal, state and local income taxes.
2. Your bank accounts are not safe from confiscation.
3. Your bank balances pay negative interest after inflation
4. If you hold cash it can be devalued or cancelled at any time
5. Your health insurance is overpriced - if you don't pay you get txed anyway
Unless you have a mortgage and need to show an insome stream, there is absolutely no benefit and lots of detriments to working on-the-books. It is a slam dunk loser. If I were starting out again today I would only work for cash and pay expenses in cash. I would convert all surplus cash to physical silver and gold and guns and ammo. There is absolutely no reason to keep a bank account excepting the convenience in paying certain bills.
There is no reason to own a home or real estate - it is a dead deflationary asset as the boomers will be downsizing for years. Investing in a 401k or stocks and bonds is a loser too. These will be siezed by the government so why bother. And the stock market is totally captive to the algos and the FED POMO and ESF activities. The game is totally rigged.
Really folks it is over for this corrupt paper money Ponzi system - over. The signs of collapse are everywhere. We are just waiting for one key event to finally put the beast out of its misery once and for all.

I have to step in here and correct Palani again in regards to every US citizen is a communist.
That statement is completely wrong.
What Palani should have said was the US government has been highkacked by "socialist" politicians using the 14th amendments jurisdiction to dictate to the subjects.
I'll tell you right now if the average Joe here in USofA knew how they could stop paying into the system they would immediately.

Need health insurance? The Obama administration has you covered. Simply dial 1-800-FUCKYO to reach the next available health-care provider.
Far from being a mistype, that’s the official number that Health and Human Services wants Americans to dial when seeking health care. Obamacare’s national callhttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1.png (http://gold-silver.us/forum/#) center really did list its number as 1-800-318-2596, helpfully spelling out President Barack Obama’s tendency to blatantly flip the bird in plain view.
After allowing for the lack of letters attached to 1 on a traditional American telephone keypad, the number spells out a clear messagehttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1.png (http://gold-silver.us/forum/#). For every duped voter, every young invincible weighing the cost of a penalty versus a newly tripled yearly deductible, every ailing old granny in a wheelchair (whom, remember, Paul Ryan wants to push off a cliff) who needs adequate and affordable health care, Obama’s message is:

I own my own business and do well enough to get by. However, whatever "prosperity" I see throughout the year is confiscated by the govt, and then some come tax time. Now, I have to add this bullshit to my list of ways I'm being fucked in the ass. I find it laughable that these douchebags in DC are trying to scare us with this "govt shutdown" business when, in fact, it's not shut down. The IRS is still up and running harrassing everyone, HMS is still targeting innocent people not terrorists. The Pentagon is still bombing brown people in the Middle East and taking their shit. The Education Dept is still fucking up everyone's education. The Energy Dept is still doing whatever useless things they do. The Treasury is as busy as ever devaluing our currency and stealing from us. The Fed is still QEing the shit out of the economy. The knuckle-dragging mouth breathers in congress are still their passing legislation that they've never read, has no effect on them and generally reams out every orifice we have. And the president gets on TV and basically talks shit to the Repubs, and by extension the American people. I thought I left that kind of behavior behind when I graduated high school. Meanwhile, the 'merican public is willfully ignorant of it all, distracted by gizmos and gadgets, compromised by blind allegiance to God, Country and sports teams and caught up in the emotional firestorm that is The Voice.
I know i'm preaching to the choir, but thanks for "listening".

Affordable Care Act 'not so affordable' for some
SACRAMENTO, CA - The Affordable Care Act is said to benefit the millions of uninsured Americans by lowering the cost of health insurance. But some are vilifying the health care law, saying it is anything but affordable.
When Don Hayes of Sacramento received his insurance renewal packet from Kaiser Permanente in the mail, he was shocked.
"I was outraged!" Hayes said. "I looked at it. I said, 'there's got to be something wrong!'"
Haye's eyes weren't fooling him. The letter from Kaiser Permanente stated his insurance rates would be going up 91 percent in 2014, a difference of more than $200 per month for Hayes.
"That $200 per month increase is the difference between paying the rent or not paying the rent, or putting food on the table or not putting food on the table," Hayes said.
Hayes considers himself a healthy 53-year-old man who rarely goes to the doctor. He said his individual, private plan with a high deductable through Kaiser Permanente worked for him, but that's all about to change.
"[Kaiser Permanente] said it doesn't meet the requirements - my current plan - of the new Affordable Care Act," Hayes said.
In a statement, Kaiser Permanente said, "the effect of health reform on any individual's premium depends a great deal on the kind of coverage they currently have. Some provisions of the Affordable Care Act may contribute to premium increases, while others may contribute to reductions in premiums for the coverage that will be available starting in 2014."
"I don't blame Kaiser at all. They're just trying to comply with the new law," Hayes said.
In 2014, insurance companies will be required to cover more health care services. Rate differences between older and younger Americans will be narrowed, and those with pre-existing health problems can't be turned away, but someone needs to pay for those changes.
"As a result of these improvements, the cost of coverage - in the form of the monthly premium - will increase for some members, simply to pay for the expanded coverage," Kaiser said.
Hayes said he does have the option of getting on his wife's insurance plan, but because of the new health care provisions, that wouldn't be a financially smart move for his family.
"The spouse rate is actually even more than this current rate with the 91 percent increase," Hayes said.
Hayes suspects he is not alone, calling the Affordable Care Act anything but affordable.
"Everybody is now finding out what's in the 2,000-page nightmare Affordable Care Act," Hayes said. "I want it repealed. Get rid of it. It's a disaster."
"All consumers should be aware that they may be eligible for financial assistance to help reduce their cost," Kaiser said. "The federal government will provide financial assistance in the form of advance premium tax credits and cost sharing reductions to help lower-income families pay their premiums. Assistance is based on a variety of factors, including family size, income, location, as well as the cost and benefit design of the plan chosen."
