It should be clear by now - Barry feels compelled to weigh in on the name of a NFL football team that's "offensive to some" -

So what is wrong with naming your team after a type of potato?

my guess is, if the the Indians' skin was red, it's because they spent a lot of time in the sun.

they were a smart hardworking people who brought a bow and arrow to a gun fight.

No, there's definitely something genetically different there as Amer-Indian men lack facial hair.

He said that while fans get attached to the names, nostalgia may not be a good enough reason to keep them in place.

What if its a tactic by the opposing team to remove its fan base?

Shouldn't that be a compliment? Generally teams name themselves after something that signifies strength and toughness. Bears, wildcats, vikings stuff like that. By calling themselves redskins they are referring to the bravery and nobleness of the Indian warrior.

Obama is a tool.

I cannot believe that a team with the name of 'Warriors' was re-named.

Doesn't the US Military use Indian names for some of it's aircraft? The Apache fighter jet or something? Maybe they need to rename it to something less offensive.

I like the suggestion I heard on Alex Jones show the other day. A petition to rename the White House. Many Americans feel White is a racist term. I propose naming it the Rainbow House Of Political Correctness.

The Washington Redskins are changing their name because of all the hatred, violence, and hostility associated with those words.

From now on they will be known simply as the Redskins.

Interestingly we don't hear any whiny troublemakers complaining about the Atlanta Braves and the tomahawk chop...

I was thinking because of all the dickheads in D.C. they could change the name to the Washington Foreskins.
