I've been learning there may be a lot of prep items we think we need, but really don't. There's a lot of useless products out there. When prepping, the first natural thing to do, is look at what products we use, then go buy them in bulk.
I thought a thread combining tips and information on trying new things, changing habits a bit, to streamline preps might be a good idea.
For example, based upon another poster's recommendation (glass?) I started using my bar soap as shampoo. I was pleasantly surprised, my hair feels just as clean as using those expensive bulky shampoos.
I then took this idea further, and started using the same bar of soap to replace shaving cream. Again, not much difference, got a nice close shave.
So now, I use one simple bar soap to combine all three different items, soap, shampoo, and shaving cream. You can stack a lot of soap, for relatively cheap, and doesn't take up much space. Plus, packing a bar of soap on the go is very simple, etc.
