Just a dumb question for you. There was a fairly long period of time that you went silent.

Was that by choice or were you insitutionalized?

I'm thinking it's just the season of hyperbullshit.

Personally, I think everyone should stop dog piling on Hypertiger. He's definitely a unique dude, with a mind running on overdrive. I like some of his rants. If you look past all the "we all suck and we're all going to die" parts, there's hidden nuggets of truth in there.

Generally, I agree. He does hold some fallacious positions that taint the rest of the rants... but they do show me he is nowhere near the godlike figure he likes to present. Also, he sounds like a hurting pup that is in need of mature care-taking.

I agree. It's a lot better than having someone go around talking like a duck.

I think hypertiger adds some uniqueness to the forum, and I'm glad to have him post here.

Same here. I think the mix of viewpoints can help diversify (in a good way) the information presented.... even how it is presented. We all need to get sharper at filtering out truths and detect when someone is blowing smoke up our butts.

Whats wrong with talking like a duck?

Duckspeak is a Newspeak term meaning literally to quack like a duck (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duck) or to speak without thinking. Duckspeak can be either good or "ungood" (bad), depending on who is speaking, and whether what they are saying is in following with the ideals of Big Brother (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Brother_%28Nineteen_Eighty-Four%29). To speak rubbish and lies may be ungood, but to speak rubbish and lies for the good of "The Party" may be good. In the appendix to 1984, Orwell explains:

Ultimately it was hoped to make articulate speech issue from the larynx without involving the higher brain centres at all. This aim was frankly admitted in the Newspeak word duckspeak […]. Like various words in the B vocabulary, duckspeak was ambivalent in meaning. Provided that the opinions which were quacked out were orthodox ones, it implied nothing but praise, and when the Times referred to one of the orators of the Party as a doubleplusgood duckspeaker it was paying a warm and valued compliment.

—Orwell, Nineteen Eighty-Four

An example of a skillful duckspeaker in action is provided in the beginning of chapter 9, in which an Inner Party speaker is haranguing the crowd about the crimes of Eurasia when a note is passed into his hand; he does not stop speaking for a moment, or change his voice or manner, but (according to the changed party line) he now condemns the crimes of Eastasia, which is Oceania's new enemy.

right, but at least the bottom line with HT has remained the same for many years, shows her consistency of thoughts.

Overall I agree with her... though I sometimes would phrase it differently and more subtly.

I agree with some of her message. However, she/he/it, never goes beyond that same message. And if you notice the message is the same, but the attacks. The attacks on the "pee-on" (us little people) is a word art.
She/he/it puts more into crafting numberous ways of calling all of us stupid idiots than expanding on the message.
If you take away the attacks, hypertiger is reduced to a sentence or two.
90% of any given post is either attacks or repeating the top sucks the bottom.

It's embarressing! You're all a bunch of hypertigian sycophants. Jeez, why is the floor so sticky in here? Sure, I love reading the verbal dribbling of someone who wears a hokey kitschy cat-sphinx mask and continuously insults me, calls me a stupid hairless monkey, and tells me repeatedly that I'm going to die. What's not to like? I think uberkitty brings out the latent masochism in the members here. Another pussy turning them into pussies as it were.

Been like this since birth...while I was beat until I became good at being good so I could tell powerful lies....that were true.

You all just chose become better liars to avoid the beatings.

But that did not save me from fate...Just allows me to enjoy solitude better than anyone....invisibility...like a child...seen and not heard...or known about...

Ghostwalk in and ghostwalk out into the black out.

I suspected this. Sorry about that HT. There is a way to a safe place where your performance is not judged except for rewards. The warring in your mind is a coping mechanism that has gotten you through the hard times. If it is not put back on the shelf, it can cause you more hard times. This is the unfortunate survival instinct of multiple personalities.

Compulsive liars have found a system of survival that lives on beyond the threat against your existence. Your desire for death is the wish for your internal battles to stop. I hope you are getting skilled help.
