Not trying to justify their screw up, but I met a few fbi special agents the other day. They were just normal people, surprising friendly, and we had a few laughs together. I wanted to ask them if they ever waterboarded anyone during interrogations, but figured that would cross the line.

Anyway, it's important to remember that those guys are people too, human error has to be expected to some degree. But yes, when .gov bashes regular gun owners and cites examples of being irresponsible, it's good to point out that they can be just as inept and incompetent as anyone else.
