I skimmed through the video, and I am not surprised how dependent people are, when I was 18 I left a big town , It really didn't hit home til I met My husband, and have to haul water if we wanted to shower or to wash dishes , flush the toilet, or only use the power for a certain amount of time because the batteries would run out.
I am thankful for all the lessons I have been taught and the knowledge I have, I am blessed to be out here wayyy away from all of it....(you can't see my house from the road,) that's a good thing.

Even now when knothead wants to take a shower, I make her put the drain in the tub so she knows how much water she is wasting, she wants the tv on , but its winter so the panels charge less... tv and lights get shut down sooner,(time to read a book)

Its so sad that so many people don't know how to live without being dependent.

Oh and btw, Knot head has started learning to shoot, BB guns for right now. But its a start!

Exactly. What I liked about that movie, is how it showed how quickly people can become savages. It also shows no matter how much folks prep, things don't go as planned. Again, mindset and adapting to circumstance.

Now that i had some time to digest this i have got to say this is the current hieght in garbage infotainment

Where do i begin?

First off...it took about 3-4 days for the looting to start. Hurricane Sandy showed the Golden Horde starts its march with 48 hours max. Definately by the second night of devoid of power

I like how the put the blurbs in a key points to make it seem like a problem that needs correction

I like how they made the one prepared Patriarch appear like a megolmaniac and the liberal sociolist boyfriend who had nothing but the colthes on his back but he 8s more then willing to share the spoils of another man. . I would i loved too see the old man pitch him to his new buddies and see how warmly they treat him when they find out HE HAS NOTHING TO SHARE . I also had to laugh at the end the liberal lover is gun weilding rambo that saves the day.


The only group i really felt sorry for was the kids in the elavator as that has got to be the worse case scenario for anyone.


Also i didnt like the fact there were too many happy endings.....when this goes down 9 out of 10 will be drawing the short straw like the condo couple.

Get ready for a cyber 911 on the power grid this coming Thursday or Friday. Interesting that the NSA has a new Cyber Command that is looking to expand its budget. This is just the kind of event they need.

I have always been at a loss in trying to understand who would do such a thing, and why. I can't imagine that there would be any group of private terrorist hackers who would want to take down the national electric grid just for fun. Only one foreign country is capable and motivated to do something like this--Israel, and would make sure that Iran is blamed for it. Or the NSA would pull off a false flag like this to expand the police state. Whoever they blame for it is probably the least likely perpetrator.

In the American Blackout video in the OP, one thing that stood out in my mind was thet the MSM didn't immediately--within 15 minutes of the event --blame Al Qaeda for it, without any investigation or even analysis. They would not be able to show videos of substations exploding or burning, like the pictures of planed crashing into buildings--thousands of times in the first 24 hours because nobody would be able to watch them. But for sure they would pin the blame on whoever their hate object is before the entire nation is blacked out.
