While entering the premiere of her new Catching Fire movie, Jennifer Lawrence noticed a little girl in a wheelchair crying. She asked the security folks to move the barricade so she could comfort the little girl. Notice how she adjusts the pillow at the end.

Why was the little girl crying? Is it because the barricade was in the way and she couldn't see the movie?

Her mother just learned that due to Obamacare, the insurance policy that was covering her physical therapy was cancelled. Premiums on an "approved" policy are 300% higher.

Just a guess.

Not sure. I'm thinking about quitting my practice. So I am sitting on a load of cash and I'm thinking that if I quit that I should stay in cash. I already have a lot of metal...If silver breaks below $20 I will purchase 2000 silver eagles...

She had been being her stunning self walking the red carpet at the London premiere of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and happily answers questions on her frock.

When suddenly Jennifer Lawrence spotted a young fan sobbing behind a security barrier nearby.

And without a second thought the star stopped an interview walked off the red carpet, and spent an unforgettable minute or two talking to, hugging he little girl who'd been crying.

The little girl who was dressed in a pretty purple dress was soon smiling again as Jennifer crouched by her side.

The 23-year-old actress said to the girl: 'Thank you so much for coming', before asking, 'Are you excited to be seeing the movie?' To which the girl nodded and smiled.

Making her year Jennifer then gave her new friend a big hug and posed for photos while onlookers gawped in awe of her kindness.

Hundreds had camped overnight in Leicester Square and they were were present on a wet and windy night in the capital to catch sight of the cast.
So it's no wonder she spotted the little girl beside the red carpet and went straight over to give her a cuddle.

It's unknown why the girl was upset but it could have been the cold weather, loud crowds or the fact she may not have been able to see her idol from where she was positioned.

Meanwhile, Jennifer Lawrence spoke out against the ‘disgusting’ culture of viewing young women as sex objects.
The 23-year-old star, said at the premiere the sexualisation of young women has become so prevalent it is rarely challenged by female performers.
When asked about the example set by Miss Cyrus, Miss Lawrence told the BBC’s Newsnight programme: ‘It is a part of the entertainment industry that sells. Sex sells, and for some disgusting reason young sex sells even more.’

Miss Lawrence stopped short of naming 20-year-old Miss Cyrus, but said: ‘For some people, that’s how they feel best, that’s how they feel sexy.’ She said that as long as she stars in movies that appeal to young girls, she will ‘make conscious decisions’ to set a good example.
She said she hopes her portrayal of Katniss Everdeen in the Hunger Games encourages young women to value strength of character over appearance.
