Something that they didn't mention or think about in our last town meeting.....those two engineers said that we are under par when it came to meeting the need of the town......but.....how about WTSHTF and the parents, kids, uncles, grandparents and the golden hoard come into our town to get away from the chaos that will happen in the outside world?....and then those from California and large cities will start to come in....freeway 5 runs right by Grants Pass so that many there will want to get away from that town.

Also, we have only one store where everything in it will disappeared in a single day.......those with food stamps will cash in the whole month in one day instead of doing it little by little true out the month.

At most town hall meetings, trying to discuss the coming SHTF will get you laughed at and taken lightly. Sorry to say, most people don't think it can happen here.

Is not that "it could not happen here" but that "IS GOING TO HAPPEN HERE"........

The situation will be 10 times worse than in Cuba for many reasons...people themselves will make it worse by not being ready, to many guns, government will be of no help.........and now HLS wants all law enforcing agencies to become one with them so that HLS will be the only law enforcing power in the US.

What I'm saying is, most people don't believe that it will happen, so when someone talks to them to warn them about it, they don't take it seriously. There are going to be a lot of rude awakenings when this stupid game finally implodes.

I'll give you an example. Recently I was having lunch with a co-worker, and as you know, times are still somewhat tough, the job market isn't as secure as it once was. So he asks me if I have a backup plan in case "things get bad". I didn't go into too many details, but I told him that I see it reasonable to be prepared, and how we have some food stockpiled, weapons to defend ourselves and both a family plan and a plan with the neighbors. He stared at me blankly, processing what I was saying, then he started laughing. He said "no, I mean do you have a plan if you lose your job, you know, do you have other work options?". Then he joked with me the rest of the lunch, finding it amusing that I was a "prepper". That guy, and all the sheep like him, would laugh at you when you try to warn them about SHTF.
