I agree with you, however the precedent has already been set for years. If you are white, a crime against minorities is an instant hate crime. Has been like that for years, but obvious racial crimes against white people have been ignored. That's been the double standard.

It's a step in the right direction that this knockout game is finally labeled a hate crime. However you package it, it should be an instant felony.

Innocent people have died from this game. Personally, I think a whole bunch of charges should be added...assault with a deadly weapon, felony battery, etc.

Even the victims who recover from the attack, permanent brain damage has likely occurred, if even unseen and in a small amount. People can't take hits like that without some sort of permanent damage to the brain, even very minor.

That is part of the deal too, no more hand-outs from the state. You can't teach these savages empathy, but you'll give them an idea what will happen if they do it again with their remaining hand.

And surely if you do this against one of your fellow human beings, you can't expect your fellow human beings to help you out if you can't feed yourself. No welfare for life!

This is just a very cost-efficient way of dealing with savages.

I believe it may be a wrong idea to throw the book at them.
All that does is make them a victim of a society where they cannot clime the ladder to better themselves or be responsible for their actions.

For example a friend was knockout by two thug brothers that he and I both knew. Their parents were citiy workers...one being a police officer and the other a fireman.
The two assholes would start shit and see who would react to them. Then at a later time these two would jump the person. Anyway my friend was assaulted by these two assholes causing a trip to the hospital via ambulance.
He took them to court and the judge asked my friend if jail time was good enough....he said no. My friend wanted the medical bills paid, so he told the judge no they couldn't pay the medical bills off if they are jailed.....judge agreed. They need to keep their jobs to pay the medical bills they caused.
My friend put a lien against the driving privileges after they thought they could skip paying the medical bills.
These 20 something year old brothers like their Harleys and were caught more than once having a beer run on the Harleys without a license to drive.
In the end these assholes paid over and above the initial medical bills, plus interest, plus other fines for not having a drivers license.
Their Harleys were repo'd, as was one house foreclosed, as they couldn't afford them....their ego was smashed and their pockets emptied....all while not going to jail.
The ironic thing about this story is my friend's dad was also a LEO for the same city as these two thugs parent was.


I say publically execute the one that gave the death blow and deny any and all social benefits for life to those savages in the pack who went along with it.
They need to find the means to pay for the crime they allowed to happen.
