Litecoin price is currently $21.20, which is, for good or ill, higher than the silver spot price. Fucking madness, the lot of it, if you ask me, but such is the way of the universe.
Where's Shami?

I said it was a good investment. What did you expect?

Haha I was just wondering if you had popped the champagne yet. Anyway, when I noticed that Litecoin had exceeded the silver spot price, I hoped that you were still in Litecoin as deep as you had been in the past.
And I had kinda meant to put this in the Virtual Currencies thread, where I see that Madfranks has already started this thread.

I sold off a little by little as it went up. I don't have much left to be honest but I have profited. I'm not selling anymore at any price. The problem is I don't see the price going much lower, and if I buy back in, I'll pretty much be at a loss if I hadn't sold. Same mistake I made with Bitcoin.
I'm honestly praying for a hard crash right now. I just don't see it though. There's nothing I could see that can stop Bitcoin @$3,000, then correct back down to the price of Gold. The lesson should be now with these cryptos. Buy and hold. Don't watch the prices since they will drive you nuts. Come back in a few years when you're a millionaire.

Litecoin is definitely going to be taken more seriously now, and I don't feel its going away anytime soon. Probably still a very good buy even at these prices.

Don't by on E-bay. The prices there are too high. Buy Bitcoins on Coinbase, transfer the Bitcoins to BTC-e, then trade for Litecoins.

Sure, but I'm not an expert. I've mainly been trading the funds I put in a long time ago back when Dwolla worked with Mt Gox. There's people on this forum who know more than me.
I've focused all my energy, time, and research on ammo over the past year. Not precious metals or cryptocurrencies.

Be aware that the process to set up and buy bitcoin thru coinbase takes time. In the time it took me, the price more than doubled. Even once you do get signed up, it takes at least 4 business days to transfer any funds. Still glad I figured it out, but it was frustrating at first.
