The crashes occurred on Highway 41/45 near Germantown, Wisconsin on Sunday and continued for around five minutes.

I know how to drive in snow and ice - I live in Wisconsin! Duh!
Note that none of the Class 8 truck drivers crashed.

It is amazing, that in bad weather that most people drive the same as they do in good weather and do not drive for the conditions! Technology has helped make things safer but wet/slick roads + speed will never end well. Tires have gotten better with traction control, but not slowing down and paying attention like most idiots on the road when the roads are slick puts everyone on the road at risk.

What the f*** was going through those first few folks' heads as they got out of their cars and just stood there on the side of the road just watching all the cars! I swear I thought I was going to see a few cars drive right through those people. They're lucky they didn't get killed by swerving vehicles!

Amazingly I don't think any got serious injuries!

People drive 4x4 vehicles as if they stop any differently..
