Arapahoe High School Shooting Leaves At Least 2 Injured

At least two people were injured in a shooting at Arapahoe High School in Centennial, Colo. on Friday.
Police are calling this an active shooter situation (http://www.9news.com/news/story.aspx?storyid=368628) as of 1 p.m., according to 9 News. At least one student (http://kdvr.com/2013/12/13/2-injured-in-shooting-at-arapahoe-high-school/) was critically injured, according to KDVR.

Arapahoe High School is part of Littleton Public Schools and has about 2,000 students.

Two people were reported injured Friday afternoon during a shooting at a suburban Denver high school.

Denver TV station KUSA said the shooting occurred at Arapahoe High School, in Centennial. It's not yet known who was injured, how, or if any suspects have been apprehended.

Police, who surrounded the school, describe the scene as a "active shooter situation" and a gunman still inside the school.

Students were seen calmly exiting the building with their hands up, gathering on a school track, at about 1:30 local time.

The Denver Post reported a dispatcher with the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office had said there had been a shooting. The Post also said there are reports of a fire at the school, home to about 2,200 students.

Area schools were on lock down.

Nearby Columbine High School was the site of a 1999 massacre in which two students murdered 12 students, a teacher and wounded several others before the pair committed suicide.

Follow up:

Police have identified the gunman that opened fire on a Colorado high school as 18-year-old Karl Pierson, who shot and killed himself.

Friday afternoon, police said Pierson brought a shotgun to Arapahoe High School in what initial investigations suggest was a revenge-motivated shooting. Pierson shot a 15-year-old female student, who remains in critical condition. Police said a second student who had blood on her clothing from the first victim was not shot as originally believed.

Police said two “Molotov cocktail devices” were also found in the school. One of the devices was already detonated.

Karl Halverson Pierson was a far left progressive who mocked Republicans on his Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/karlisboss) and was against gun rights for legal owners. Isn’t that amazing, that a left wing nut job, against gun rights for legal owners is responsible for the Arapahoe High School shooting today. He is now dead, and there is reportedly one person in critical condition. Leftist hypocrites like Karl Halverson Pierson never cease to amaze. He was a big fan of socialism, but that was scrubbed from the original Denver Post story. At first glance, you might assume that Pierson was a strong advocate of gun rights, not gun control. Pierson also appears to mock Republicans on another Facebook post, writing “you republicans are so cute” and posting an image that reads: “The Republican Party: Health Care: Let ‘em Die, Climate Change: Let ‘em Die, Gun Violence: Let ‘em Die, Women’s Rights: Let ‘em Die, More War: Let ‘em Die. Is this really the side you want to be on?”

Almost sounds like Alan Grayson. I’m sure Pierson was a big fan of his. So Karl Pierson was a big progressive liberal and if he could vote would mostly likely be registered as a Democrat. Now the media can drop this story like a hot potato because yet again Pierson doesn’t fit the narrative for them. Massacre avoided: Colorado school shooter intended to harm 'many'

Authorities said the Colorado gunman, identified as Karl Pierson, had entered the facility armed with a shotgun, machete and three Molotov cocktails in his backpack, with the intent to harm a large number of people.
At a news conference on Saturday, Arapahoe County Sheriff Grayson Robinson said Pierson seems to have been motivated to retaliate against a teacher – thought to be librarian and debate coach, Tracy Murphy - when he entered the high school on Friday (http://rt.com/usa/colorado-centennial-school-shooting-224/).

“It is our strong belief that he came to the school with that weapon and with multiple rounds … to cause harm to a large number of individuals. His intent was evil,” Robinson said.

Pierson was reportedly targeting Murphy because he had recently removed him from the school’s debate team.
Pierson entered the building at approximately 12:33 pm and asked for Murphy by name. The student then proceeded to the library in search of the teacher, who was able to flee the building without injury. However, Pierson managed to hurt another person instead.

Claire Davis, 17, remained in critical condition on Saturday evening after authorities say she was shot at point-blank range by Pierson.

Pierson ignited one of the Molotov cocktails, and set fire to at least three bookshelves, investigators told KDVR.com. When an armed security guard entered the room, Pierson believed he was cornered and turned his gun on himself, Robinson said.
The entire attack lasted approximately 80 seconds and was captured by security cameras.

KDVR.com reports that a student at Arapahoe High School in Centennial said Pierson was in a "rage" on Wednesday and yelled at one of his teachers.

"Apparently that was enough to set him off," the student said.

The shooting took place about 10 miles from where Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold killed 12 students and one teacher in a rampage at Columbine High School in April 1999, before killing themselves.

Of all the 'shooting' hoaxes we've been subject to in the past few years, an unlikely number have been concentrated around Denver?! Columbine (I'd guess 'real' but with much info withheld; that was '98 I think-- they've been honing their hoaxery techniques since), Aurora/batman, now this? Also consider the 'theory' of the vast underground city beneath DEN airport, and the occult murals, statues (horse), etc above ground there. Denver is also the headquarters of that "crisis actors" outfit. I heard some years ago, sorry no source/link, but the CIA and/or US federal gov was going to relocate to Denver.
