You can't believe everything you read, but who knows? If they are not getting the water now, I'm sure they will want it one day. These countries better learn how to recycle and drink they're own piss and desalinate ocean water, because I wouldn't give them a drop of our water!

Obama’s Okay of Great Lakes Water Sales To China Causes Record Low Water Levels
Truman Jackson / 2 days ago December 13, 2013

A little more than a year ago, The Center for Western Journalism ran a story on Obama’s war on America’s fresh water supply. People scoffed and called the outlet doomsdayers and Obama naysayers, but now, it appears their warnings may have been accurate, as record low levels for the American Great Lakes have been reported.

The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers reported earlier this year that Lake Huron and Lake Michigan have achieved their lowest water levels since records for such information began being kept back in 1918. In spite of the record low levels, the Obama administration has still given the go-ahead to export water from the lakes to China for commercial sale, to the tune of between half a million and nearly two million dollars a day in profits. Nestle corporation, a Swiss company, is also sold water from the Great Lakes.

Little known to many, is the fact that the Great Lakes hold roughly 20% of the world’s fresh water supply, and much of that water is being exported to other countries due to a loop hole being exploited by the Obama administration. Knowing how precious fresh water is, and how rare it is in much of the rest of the world, former U.S. President George W. Bush set aside the water in the Great Lakes to be protected. However, the Obama administration has relabeled the water in the lakes a “commodity” which allows them to sell it, which is what they are doing.

In the past, only third world countries struggled with fresh water supplies. This was a harsh reality in rough parts of the world that Americans had always been sheltered from. But now that the Obama administration has allowed for the privatization of America’s water sources, Americans too may someday soon understand the struggles of simply obtaining fresh water.

I don't believe Fresh water will be sold to China. Even with shortages it would be prohibitively expensive to transport it there. And some areas of China, the tropical regions, have an abundance of rainwater, which should be much easier and cheaper to collect...

Depends on how you want to play the story out to the masses. Remember, not everyone out there gets the same info like we do on this forum.........

when one gets right down to it, all a sale amounts to is "change of ownership." what if China is gathering that ownership right as a bargaining chip in order to do business with a third party of their chosing?

what if it is being exported to a chinese controlled company stateside?

what if it is being exported to support a chinese "settlement" here in N.A.?

so many possible chinese beneficial outcomes besides the obvious suck it up a tube and haul it to mainland china here.

Our land, food, water,..........when are we going to give them our oxygen?........war has been declared against the American people and yet.........nothing is being done about it.

I suppose they would object to purchasing Mississippi River water south of New Orleans? Nitrates from farm runoff could be counted as a value added component. Don't suppose they would object to this water being the effluent discharge of hundreds of sewage treatment plants? After all ... they drink it in New Orleans.

Wonder what the Valium component would be valued at?

War was officially declared* on the American people in 1933...what has been done over the past 80 years to resolve this situation? Absolutely nothing...

*the American people were clearly declared enemies of the corporate state with the resurrection of The Trading With the Enemy Act of 1917 as amended March 9, 1933, in particular the amending of Section 5(b) of same -

I don't see how it is possible to move such volumes of fresh water literally half way around the world in an energy cost-effective manner. They'd probably burn an equivalent volume of oil moving the water. If would make more sense for the Chinese to burn that oil powering giant water vapor condensors or building a pipeline from Siberia.

Those are more realistic options, I think it is possible China may have an agricultural settlement on US soil in a few years time. Maybe they buy Detroit, to have as Capitol and Industrial center, and they buy up all the available farmland at a 200 mile radius...

You can't buy farmland so why do you believe the Chinese have this ability?

Good point. Hadn't thought about that. When America was the manufacturing engine of the world, the ships would come back empty except for cobblestones added for ballast. These cobblestones pave the streets of America's port cities this very day.

Yes it is a good point! Then you put the water in a 12 oz. plastic bottle and sell them in China for a buck or two a piece.
Very profitable!

No. It is Iowa code. You have to be a U.S. citizen to own farmland in Iowa. The U.S. citizenship is the mirage. It don't exist.

I wasnt going to post this but ....what the heck!
Which "US citizenship" are you referrencing to palani that apparently by your standards doesnt exist?

The term "United States" has three (3) different distinct, and separate jurisdictional meanings. This has been stated in Hooven & Allison Co. v. Evatt, 324 U. S. 652. There the court stated:

The term "United States" may be used in any one of several senses. It may be merely the name of a sovereign occupying the position analogous to that of other sovereigns in the family of nations. It may designate the territory over which the sovereignty of the United States extends, or it may be the collective name of the States which are united by and under the Constitution.

Apparently it does exist....maybe not in your capacity, what ever that is, but the government seems to recognize "us citizenship".....three of them actually!

A trust can buy the land and look after the material needs of the Chinese farmers?

You posted nothing about citizenship. You posted nonsense.

1) The U.S. is a federation. No federation on earth has ever been 'sovereign'.
2) As the U.S. has no sovereignty then over what territory might this sovereignty extend? There is no sovereignty and there is no territory.
3) Do you live in a collective state which ARE united by and under the Constitution? The 'are' refers to multiple states and I don't have a clue what collective state might be assembled from multiple states. Do you?

The states of water are: solid, liquid or vapor. What do you have when you form a collective state from these three states? Answer: A MESS!!!!

Your senses are sight, sound, taste, feel and smell. Imagination is not a sense so how are you going to establish ownership by IMAGINING it?
