People who say they 'dont trust the market' are really saying this: I dont trust the peaceful voluntary transactions between individuals, BUT if we had an overruling GANG of 'central planners' who FORCED their will upon all of us, then we could have the peaceful coexistence between individuals and corporations that we all yearn for.

Its absolutely bat shit insane, just like the belief magical pixie dust, and yet the majority of the population believes this MYTH.

When the market is controlled and manipulated, you get the Black Market. Which is free, but illegal. The most common form of regulation and manipulation of markets is done by monopolies. They control the resources, and there is no other way to get what they sell, so you pay their price or you go without. The world is headed in that direction. One day--soon-- there will be only one business that owns all the resources--and the market will cease to exist.
