Pretty amazing

Master Wood Carvers Astounding Achievement
12-28-13

One tree, four years of work and an indescribable amount of talent: that’s what it took to create this incredible masterpiece. A famous Chinese wood carver chopped down a single tree and tirelessly worked on it for over four years to make this piece. Your jaw will hit the floor when you see what he created.

It all started out with a simple tree trunk… http://rense.com/general96/wood.html

That's nothing. Yesterday at the post office, a tweeker tried to sell me a replica of her dog done in pine cone scales over foam. I told her to roll the window down to give it some air

That's pretty special, did she charge you for taking a photo?

The intricate carvings of daily life in ancient China are so detailed and perfect, they could drop your jaw.

It’s no surprise that this incredible work of art is drawing so much attention. It’s amazing, but not just because it’s so big, but also because it’s so incredibly detailed.

These people are completely insane, 'environmentalist wackos' indeed.

I wonder how he was able to dry the wood before carving it. I tried making stuff out of recently cut wood when I was a kid and was dismayed when it dried and split all to hell. All that little detail must be carved in stable, dry wood or it will split all to hell. Amazing peice of craft work though.

It's scary to think these people drive cars and are in the on-coming lane when I'm driving.

Art is never done, one just stops working on it.
