Catherine touches on the new economy the Elite are developing. The Baby Boomers are being stolen from, but the money stolen will be reinvested in technology in the new technological economy/society. Technology will cause things to become more decentralized. People will rely on doctors/hospitals less since of technology that will allow them to treat many medical issues from home. The economy isn't going to collapse too.

The markets are rising because of massive share buy backs to cut supply in relation to demand...To support price.

I've been spending some time listening to George Gordon. He makes a lot of sense and some very interesting observations, like it is possible to make 100,000 frn's on as little as 3 acres, by selling organic produce directly to the consumer. If you couple that with the fact that the income tax is voluntary and you opt out of Social Security you get to keep that 100,000 for yourself.

Not spending money on the government is a win/win proposition for all of us as the government has become an albatross around the necks of the common man.

i agree totally bigjohn, i just don't get how she expects 100 million people in atlanta, nyc, la, chicago, houston, etc. to suddenly pack up, aquire 2 or 3 acres of land, and shuck the system. it doesn't seem plausible to me that all of those huge cities can just move out in the country.

I can't argue with your viewpoint, but a cousin of mine plus a buddy of his have relocated from Minnesota to southern Arkansas to do subsistence farming and odd jobs in the communities there. They've been gone for a year and half now and seems like they are surviving. Not a lot of communication from them, but there never was between us.

it's cool when people can do it. i bought a ten acre hobby farm about 4 years ago. we are almost at the point of buying zero vegetables ever (canning). the fruit trees and bushes are beginning to produce, i have have shot deer, geese, ducks, and pheasants as well. we aren't off the food grid by any means, but if i went hardcore i probably could.

They already have the technology to make pretty much everything you see around you obsolete and i don't see them sharing it with the masses.

What are they going to do, water it down to the point they can share it with us?

it's all or nothing as i see it and i don't see any of it mainstreaming yet.

Her basic message is that the entire economy and financial world is going to transition into something new, and in the new economy you want to have real-world skills that can be offered locally. Growing food is only one of them. She's very big on getting people to bypass all the large crook corporations and banks, and satisfying your needs from your local community. If we all do that, then all the new skills that we make available locally allow you to become more self reliant and prosperous.

She's very frustrated that people tend to not do this. Her example is the big banks. We know the big banks are crooks, yet most people do their finances (credit cards, mortgage, checking, etc.) through these big banks rather than community banks or credit unions. She claims that the people have the power to become independent of these large institutions if we would only choose to do so. Growing food locally is just one example.
