As the rest of the nation suffers through the continued economic meltdown (no, things aren’t getting better any more than the ObamaCare website is fixed), the Jerk left his own taxpayer-funded Hawaiian paradise vacation, with daughters in tow. Left behind was his wife, supposedly as “part of her birthday present;” (http://pjmedia.com/tatler/2014/01/06/obama-flies-back-to-washington-but-michelle-stays-in-hawaii/) a first First Lady who chose a national project geared toward shaming America’s children, taking federal Food Stamp money to do it.

Apparently, setting this nation on fire hasn’t brought the Obamas closer together, so we’re told The Jerk is giving her a “birthday present” of allowing her to stay in Hawaii without her family. Weird. Most American families prefer to spend important personal days with their family, but not this couple. Let’s be honest, Michelle is not staying behind as a birthday present; she stayed behind because she’s finally had enough of what it’s like to live with a guy who is so malignantly narcissistic, so self-involved, he doesn’t even notice when he embarrasses his wife in front of the world. The first thing I noted when they left for their Hawaiian vacay was the fact that they actually flew out together. In previous vacations to Hawaii and other locations, MichAck (or BarElle? Haven’t decided on their couple name yet…) tend to fly separately. It’s as though they can’t stand to be around each other. Unfortunately, that thrifty moment was not to last. By leaving FLOTUS in Hawaii that means we’re on the hook for an additional 10 hour flight from Hawaii at a cost of $180,000 an hour. So about $1.8 million dollars, for the flight alone. She requires, of course, Secret Service and her staff of–what is it these days–50? The final bill will likely be kept in the “Transparency” office with all the other information kept from the American people. Truly, can someone call Snowden? He’s the only one these days making sure the American people are getting the information owed us. After all, I think it’s important to know when the government is acting unconstitutionally or even criminally. I know, I’m so old-fashioned!

“The smart money says the marriage is doomed,” said a close source.
“Barack and Michelle have had a rocky go for years and mainly stayed together for their daughters and his political career.
“But now Michelle is mad AS hell. She feels violated in front of the whole world, and screamed at him, ‘I’ve had enough!’
“She’s met with divorce lawyers and told Barack that she wants a life apart from him.”
