This, and also when you reach a plateau in learning, there is not much to talk about anymore. It happens with every internet forum I've ever been on from guns to cars to gold. There are a few very knowledgable people and many others hungry for knowledge. At first there is a lot of activity as the knowledge gets transfered. Then things slow down to a trickle when the hunger of the many has been satisfied and the few knowledgable ones get tired of repeating themselves.
