Not so sure that works. The first thing that comes to mind is- NEVER appeal to a statute within an unlawful law for permission. In such an appeal, you place yourself under that statute and have no recourse to higher authority.

i actually LOL'd reading the above.

i can just hear what H.R. Block is going to say to those who don't want to pay the fine when they do the taxes for millions. like HR is going to go against up against the govt who has given them the license to electronically file with IRS or go out of "pay to prepare taxes" business model.

ditto all the little home filers using electronic, self submit software to do their taxes.

then there are the short-form types pressing one, then *, and then #, on their phone pads, trying to disconnect without paying the fine.

I have no health insurance now thanks to ObongoCareLess. I am not paying any fine because I did nothign wrong.

You are, subject to the jurisdiction thereof, and therefore are required to obtain health insurance.

Social Security is a federal government retirement agency of the United States.

If you are, then you are definately a subject (federal personnel) where Congress sets the rules and obama being top dog.
