He was principal author of the 'shock and awe' doctrine, which was released in 1996, and has written more than 500 columns for United Press International, Inc., the most recent of which called for a new version of the 1933 Glass-Steagall Act and stricter regulation of financial weapons of mass destruction.

The Atlantic Council is considered to be a highly influential organization with close ties to major policy makers across the world. It’s headed up by Gen. Snowcroft has also advised President Barack Obama (http://www.dcclothesline.com/tag/president-barack-obama/).Harlan K.
