(So count on us coming up with a well planned and executed *crisis* for all you stupid fucking rubes. - Harlan K. Ullman, the principal author of 'Shock and Awe')

Ullman concludes that the elimination of non-state actors and empowered individuals “must be done” in order to preserve the new world order.

I suppose this shall be called Shock and Awe v2.0.

A student of global economics with a Ph.D. in International Politics and Finance from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Harlan Ullman (http://www.nndb.com/people/828/000131435) provides advisory services to high-level government and business leaders through The Killowen Group, of which he is Chairman. Harlan Ullman (http://namesake.com/HarlanUllman) also chairs high-technology firms CNIGuard Ltd. and CNIGuard Inc., both of which operate in the infrastructure industry; sits on the advisory board of I.E.-SPS and SPS US, a business that manufactures a new material that is as revolutionary to steel as iron was to wood; and sits on the boards of two publicly traded investment funds.
A former naval officer, Harlan Ullman served in Vietnam and led more than 150 combat patrols and operations. Once the youngest military professor on the faculty the National War College, he spent three years directing the course of study for military strategy. Today, Ullman continues to serve the military through seats on the advisory boards of the Department of Defense and the Combatant Commanders. He also serves as Senior Advisor to the Atlantic Council and is a Distinguished Senior Fellow at the National Defense University.
Harlan Ullman is author of many books on foreign policy, strategy, and security, including "America's Promise Restored: Preventing Culture, Crusade, and Partisanship from Wrecking Our Nation," "In Irons: U.S. Military Might in the New Century," and "Unfinished Business: Afghanistan, The Middle East, and Beyond; Defusing the Dangers that Threaten America's Security." He was principal author of the 'shock and awe' doctrine, which was released in 1996, and has written more than 500 columns for United Press International, Inc., the most recent of which called for a new version of the 1933 Glass-Steagall Act and stricter regulation of financial weapons of mass destruction.

i am posting this info so people can see who this guy is .... Harlan is a former Navy (http://wikiality.wikia.com/Navy) commander who is currently a private, not a public, citizen and "expert in national security whose advice is sought by governments and businesses" (http://www.cnn.com/2007/LAW/04/12/dc.madam/index.html?eref=rss_topstories)One of the people he may have mutually consulted with is Deborah Palfrey (http://wikiality.wikia.com/Deborah_Palfrey).
Mr. Ullman is also one of the theorists behind the "shock and awe" military strategy that ended the War in Iraq (http://wikiality.wikia.com/War_in_Iraq)..... Think Tank: “Extraordinary Crisis” Needed to Preserve “New World Order” Posted on January 17, 2014 (http://www.dcclothesline.com/2014/01/17/think-tank-extraordinary-crisis-needed-preserve-new-world-order/) by Paul Joseph Watson (http://www.dcclothesline.com/author/paul-joseph-watson/)

Writing for the Atlantic Council, a prominent think tank based in Washington DC (http://www.dcclothesline.com/tag/washington-dc/), Harlan K. Ullman warns that an “extraordinary crisis” is needed to preserve the “new world order (http://www.dcclothesline.com/tag/new-world-order/),” which is under threat of being derailed by non-state actors like Edward Snowden (http://www.dcclothesline.com/tag/edward-snowden/).http://static.prisonplanet.com/p/images/january2014/170114atlantic.jpg

The Atlantic Council is considered to be a highly influential organization with close ties to major policy makers across the world. It’s headed up by Gen. Brent Scowcroft, former United States (http://www.dcclothesline.com/tag/united-states/) National Security Advisor under U.S. Presidents Gerald Ford and George H. W. Bush. Snowcroft has also advised President Barack Obama (http://www.dcclothesline.com/tag/president-barack-obama/).Harlan K. Ullman was the principal author of the “shock and awe” doctrine and is now Chairman of the Killowen Group which advises government (http://www.dcclothesline.com/tag/government/) leaders. In an article entitled War on Terror (http://www.dcclothesline.com/tag/war-on-terror/) Is not the Only Threat, Ullman asserts that, “tectonic changes are reshaping the international geostrategic system,” arguing that it’s not military superpowers like China but “non-state actors” like Edward Snowden, Bradley Manning and anonymous hackers who pose the biggest threat to the “365 year-old Westphalian system” because they are encouraging individuals to become self-empowered, eviscerating state control.“Very few have taken note and fewer have acted on this realization,” notes Ullman, lamenting that “information revolution and instantaneous global communications” are thwarting the “new world order” announced by U.S. President George H.W. Bush more than two decades ago.“Without an extraordinary crisis, little is likely to be done to reverse or limit the damage imposed by failed or failing governance,” writes Ullman, implying that only another 9/11-style cataclysm will enable the state to re-assert its dominance while “containing, reducing and eliminating the dangers posed by newly empowered non-state actors.”Ullman concludes that the elimination of non-state actors and empowered individuals “must be done” in order to preserve the new world order. A summary of their material suggests that the Atlantic Council’s definition of a “new world order” is a global technocracy run by a fusion of big government and big business under which individuality is replaced by transhumanist singularity.Ullman’s rhetoric sounds somewhat similar to that espoused by Trilateral Commission co-founder and regular Bilderberg attendee Zbigniew Brzezinski, who in 2010 told a Council on Foreign Relations meeting (http://www.prisonplanet.com/brzezinski-decries-global-political-awakening-during-cfr-speech.html) that a “global political (http://www.dcclothesline.com/tag/political/) awakening,” in combination with infighting amongst the elite, was threatening to derail the move towards a one world government.Ullman’s implied call for an “extraordinary crisis” to reinvigorate support for state power and big government has eerie shades of the Project For a New American Century’s (http://www.antiwar.com/orig/stockbauer1.html) 1997 lament that “absent some catastrophic catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor,” an expansion of U.S. militarism would have been impossible. In 2012, Patrick Clawson, member of the influential pro-Israel Washington (http://www.dcclothesline.com/tag/washington/) Institute for Near East Policy (WINEP) think tank, also suggested (http://www.infowars.com/lobbyist-launch-staged-provocation-to-start-war-with-iran/)that the United States should launch a staged provocation to start a war with Iran.Ullman’s concern over failing state institutions having their influence eroded by empowered individuals, primarily via the Internet, is yet another sign that the elite is panicking over the “global political awakening” that has most recently expressed itself via the actions of people like Edward Snowden, Julian Assange, Bradley Manning and their growing legion of supporters.Facebook @ https://www.facebook.com/paul.j.watson.71
