Argentina limits foreign online buys to 2 a year.

BEAUNOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) --

Argentina's government is slapping another restriction on online and mail-order purchases from abroad as it tries to stem the outflow of dollars.

Wednesday's announcement in the official gazette limits Argentines to just two such purchases a year. Purchases beyond that will be dealt with as imports, subject to more extensive paperwork.

The decree says the limit applies to the official postal service, but does not mention private courier companies.It comes only a day after the government said it would require people to submit a statement to the tax agency before they can receive goods ordered from abroad

. Such goods can be taxed at 50 percent.

Argentina's economy is suffering from a shortage of dollars and its foreign reserves recently plunged to their lowest level in more than seven years.

They run a lottery kind of thing that entitles people to exchange X local currency for US currency so they can make international purchases. I'm not 100% on the mechanics but that was how it was described to me. The demand for consumer products everywhere south of the US is very strong still, but getting the $$USD is the problem.

Isn't that the truth. I am currently in Colombia. I have noticed the stores here have quite a few products that are manufactured in Colombia, but still the shelves are loaded with Chinese junk.

Some animals are moar equal than others. You need to read Animal Farm my friend. Someone needs to be the hunter setting the trap first.There was a chemistry professor in a large college who had some exchange students in the class.


One day while the class was in the lab, the professor noticed one young man, an exchange student who kept rubbing his back and stretching as if his back hurt.The professor asked the young man what was the matter. The student told him he had a bullet lodged in his back. They are so used to it that they have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept their captivity." The young man then told the professor that is exactly what he sees happening in America .

The government keeps pushing us toward Communism/Socialism and keeps spreading the free corn out in the form of programs such as supplemental income, tax credit for unearned income, tax exemptions, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare, medicine, drugs, etc., while we continually lose our freedoms, just a little at a time.

One should always remember two truths:There is no such thing as a free lunch, and you can never hire someone to provide a service for you cheaper than you can do it yourself. If you see that all of this wonderful government "help" is a problem confronting the future of democracy in America ,

you might want to send this on to your friends.If you think the free ride is essential to your way of life, then you will probably delete this email. BUT, God help us all when the gate slams shut!

We are at the part in Venezuela where the gate has been slammed closed and the corn runs out to feed everyone. That is where Marxist equality doctrine comes in well except for the pigs that are moar equal than the rest like Maduro.

I was watching a lot of hunting vids on YT and for hogs, this was exactly what some guys were doing. Step for step. Took patience but it didn't actually take too long. We are talking maybe a week. They would get the whole herd. In to the trailer and off they went..... to market.
