He had a fighting stance. He then went for his car when the first shot was fired. It would be nice to know what the initial call was, lot's of cops, probably this guy was wanted armed and dangerous.

Watch the video again. He had his arms in the air and his feet spread. The cop shot him in the chest and again as he turned to run for his life. Five more shots into his back as he tried to flee his murderer. Then the coward who shot him, runs over and rolls him on his stomach to cuff his hands behind his back. The cowardice displayed here is beyond belief.

I watched the video again and think you are right. Someone fired the first shot, then he turned to run for his life. The last two shots, right in his back with his hands up. Hope this incident gets investigated.

it appears he was running from the po-po, car chase; whenever you run from the po-po, when they finally stop you, you're going to get beat down at the very least and shot and killed at the worst, when you run I think it makes them smell blood then their conditioning kicks in and they want to kill you, on a side note I've said it before a CHP cop stated one time, "we show up to win, not to play fair", that really says it all....they show up to kill you

I do the same thing mick. Keep my hands on the wheel until they are by the window and ask for info. Don't want them to fear me.

"we show up to make DAMN SURE your sorry ass submits to our god THE STATE, NOT to further the ends of justice...resistance to our god THE STATE will result in you being stomped into a mud hole...DIE OR ALIVE you WILL submit!"

Much more like it.

Cops are just going to hit the right note one day... and an event like that will lead to every one of those cops having an accident. They are raising the temperature of the pot and it will boil over.

I will not mourn for any cop that finds a soldier's resting place because it is likely that he deserved it. I will not feel bad for the families they leave behind because they are doing that to others without regard for life or consequences. You couldn't get me to be a cop now. I would never put on the uniform seeing this kind of crap. They are savage beasts out hunting. There will be hunters who come for the hunters.

Leading cops on a car chase is not safe or advised. Trying to get back in the car to continue driving is not a wise choice.

This was probably a bad guy doing bad things and endangering others.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Oh, the cops were sure he was a bad guy and their mission was to see that there was no repeat offense. Also, they probably got interrupted from their donut break.

Do good guys lead cops on a high speed car chase in neighborhoods where innocent bystanders could get killed?

I'm not a huge fan of some cops, but they do deal with the scum of the earth on a daily basis.

It's easy to just tout the 'all cops are bad and part of the police state' line, but at the end of the day, I would rather have cops than not. Lot of really bad guys out there doing really bad things. You want to stop them?

You want to stop them?

I, and others like me, are far more efficient and effective than the donut munchers.

If EVERY man were armed you'd hardly see criminal activity, it would be the very rare exception. Just plain stupid to rely on anyone else other than yourself for your own personal safety.
