I'm wondering what happened to the ejection port dust cover on the rifle in the OP.

Just listened to George Gordon and he says that the gun laws only apply to guns that are sold across state lines. Commerce is the only thing the Government can "legally" regulate. Whether or not they will abide by the law, is probably up to us to hold them accountable.
If you build your own gun their is no law that lets them confiscate it. Or if you know someone who has the skills to build a gun for you locally there are no laws to prevent owning one.

Buffer tube, all ARs have buffer tubes except for the Oly Arms pistol AR. The charging handle is still in its standard location on the AR in the OP.

Is commerce perpetual? Suppose that I bought a rifle from a hardware store in 1964. Lets say the hardware store was in the state where I have spent my entire life. Once I paid for the rifle and walked out the door with it in my hands is that rifle still in interstate commerce? Sitting in my gun cabinet for more than 40 years is It still in interstate commerce? I don't think the initial intent of the commerce clause was to regulate ítems sold in ínter state commerce once the initial interstate sale was completed. I believe the state of being in interstate commerce ended when the merchant completed the business transaction with the out of state supplier. The sale of the rifle to me was intrastate. Of course BATF wIll not accept this line of reasoning. But if I were on a Jury involving such a case I would either convince the other jurors to aquit or I would hang the Jury.

I think the government expanded their take on the commerce clause for all it's worth and then some. Expanding their authority is what governments do, until the people reign them in and they have done everything in their power to remove the reigns from the people.
GG says it is our own fault for being dumb, and letting them turn us away from our private property rights to civil rights.
