Yeah, that's a wild thought there mick. The fact that a big name store, and this product was even created, speaks volumes.

Maybe they do know something we don't, or they are recommending a solution to our political mess of a country. Actions speak louder than words. Sell a product like this, they are saying something indeed.

This would also be good for secure storage of silver. Heck, fill her up and use her for a boat anchor.

6 inc pvc pipe will do the same as that but alot cheaper with your silver plus ammo plus gun . there someone i know does that with pvc

The manufacturer MTM came up with that, not Cabela's, and with MTM specializing in sportman's plastic containers they're always looking for new products to sell. MTM is just capitalizing on the 'Zombie Apocalypse' meme much like Mossberg is capitalizing on the 'the gungrabbers are coming!' meme with their 'Just In Case (JIC)' shotgun package sold ready for burial. Or like Costco selling their crappy 'survival food' packages in a five gallon pail.
