Most excellent, just saw the butt off into a pistol grip, and load it with silver splinter shot for the vampires...

Guaranteed to never miss.

What if you're needing more than two shots (i.e. more than two bad guys)?

For what one of those costs one could have a Remington 870 with an extended mag or a mil-spec Mossy 590A1. And here locally I've picked up Model 12 Winchesters with plenty of life left in 'em for $250 and $275, and recently saw two more advertised, one for $350 and one for $375 which I would have picked up on if I didn't already have more than enough shottys.

i got the gun because of what it stands for . i was born into the wrong time and place . i did not need this gun , i have a gun like your talking about . i buy guns like this because i enjoy them it take me back to a time that i cannot go to . thats what make whats left of this country great . i can buy it for me . i am like a kid in a candy store at my buddy gun shop . if your ever in ky you need to go to knob creek gun range .http://www.knobcreekrange.com/ . twice a year we have one of the biggest Machine Gun Shoot in the country . people come here from all over the country . meet a hell of alot of good people there over the years . and seen some of the sweetest machine guns in one place plus fires a hell of alot of them .

You'll love that Coach gun. I never had a side x side with external hammers, just old doubles I chopped to 18". They were old cheapies I got for $200 - $300 that only take 2 3/4 shells. I can get two shots out faster than a machine gun....both at the same time if I feel like it.

If a bear comes bothering the dog, I'll tuck my .45 in my belt and grab the double. I figure the instant I get 2 shots off with the double, I'll drop the shotgun and grab the .45 in one movement.

I've got a Remington 870 with an 18" barrel too. It's better for slugs since it was rifle sights, but the doubles are so short, fast and handy for close work.
