This is the extended podcast version of the presentation Mark Passio gave at the Free Your Mind 2 Conference in Philadelphia on April 27, 2013. I only listened to the first 2 hours so far but from what I gather, in agreement with Passio, is that the New Age ideology/religion works like any other one. If one believes in dogmas and whatever authority, the mind can never set itself free... and thus calls for enslavement.

ps: Passio only targets New Agers, but it is my conclusion that what he says about them, could easily be applied to any other religious group.

we are in this global mess because of the so many people believing that their authority is going to have the final word... authority is a pipe dream in which there is only room for Masters and serfs. It is a false logic, to think that we need somebody/a group to rule us, and which prevents self-responsibility and individual sovereignty from operating on a grand scale.

the only question, will we eventually be able to rule our selves, have enough wisdom and knowledge to do so?

well I eventually made it. It took me 4 days to finish Passio's 7 hour presentation, meaning 90mins/day.

I still am pondering his argument against New Age because I hear that anything he says about it, could be said about any ideology, religious or not. When one is too wrapped onto one self, either meditating or praying, it does blind one from what is going on around us.

I very much like his take on the Sacred Masculine (Force, Intellect and Action, Left Brain) and Sacred Feminine (Non Coercion, Emotion, Nurturing, Right Brain) while describing Violence (chaos) as an unnatural state, which requires the use of Force (self-defense) to be ended. Masculine and Feminine have too their purpose to fix Governments' violence. When Force and Non Coercion are balanced, we have Anarchy, which doesnt mean Chaos but the absence of Rulers/Statists. Rulers will always incarnate Chaos, due to their coercive nature. The New Age is dysfunctional in the sense that it is exclusively Right Brain oriented, meaning an ideology that turn its followers into passive victims/slaves (everything is fine with me, that's the world that is wrong, evil). But we also have seen this with the Christians when thrown into the arenas at the mercy of lions and people accepting to be imprisoned in concentration camps for example. Instigating passiveness is something that the Rulers are very good at.

Passio does a great job at explaining why the state of (free range) slavery is unnatural and illegitimate and that as soon as we accept Rulers, we just condone our enslavement. There is absolutely no way to get rid of government's violence as long as we continue to think we need lawmakers. The only way to avoid sufferings cause by them, is self-ruling. It is a Universal Law. Totally i-n-e-s-c-a-p-a-b-l-e.

I went through this and thought there was some great information in this video. The main issue with it is that the guy keeps repeating himself over and over and over about a topic until going to the next topic. Hence, it took him 7 hours to get across 1.5 - 2 hours of information. So I just skipped the video ahead a little bit after he had sufficiently made his point, because I don't need something repeated 25 times before I understand it.

But aside from that, this is a great source of information for those looking for information.
