So this starts out, the husband and wife pull over to the side of the road to change drivers. Cops pull up and demand ID. Cops do not arrest man. Cops also start unlawful search. Man objects and is charged with failing to identify even though he did.
Court prosecutor attempts to pervert the course of justice. Prosecutor tells man he should just suck it up, Its easier to just let it wash over him.
This is a live leak - 18 mins of dashcam and court room video.

Advice of this nature is not false. The prosecutor is just telling the story from his perspective.
I think he should have been on the cell phone calling 911 the instant the po-lice showed up. Isn't impending theft an emergency?

Wow. Those cops are murderous. If they are willing to push immoral and unlawful actions to the point of using deadly force as a threat, they WILL commit murder. These rogue cops are worse than street gangs. The bible has one verse that applies to them.... if you live by the sword you will die by the sword.

I agree that it is an perspective. With out being adversarial, I did not judge or state that the advice was false. It certainly is the advice that any Kapo would provide to a charge. That's basically what attorneys are. I have heard same advice from prosecutors myself. They always want to talk away from witnesses. Exactly like that guy. I still think there is room to call perversion. Enough to be indicted? I think so but that's me. On a personal note, my bias, they are Snakes and Dogs the lot of them. This is the perfect example for anywhere in the western world. You cannot compromise with them because it will cost you dearly. This man did the right thing and it took balls. Hopefully he has earned his peace and they leave him alone.
