In a December letter to the University of Minnesota president, a coalition of black student organizations demanded an end to racial profiling, especially in light of recent campus crime incidents. "(C)ampus safety should be of the (university's) utmost importance," they acknowledged, but among the organizations' complaints was that when "be on the lookout" alerts were issued (usually based on victims' descriptions of their attackers), innocent black students feel "discomforting," "negative psychological effects" -- because the alerts so often describe black attackers. Must be Swedes and Norwegians with black shoe polish on their face and hands to protect against the cold, committing the crimes...

You meant to say dark shoe polish, and don't let it happen again.

That doesn't sound like racial profiling. That sounds like criminal profiling. The criminals use their race and clothing to band together in numbers so they can't be identified. If everyone is black, with dreadlocks, wearing baggy jeans and black hoodie...that's called the "uniform" on the street. Yes, they know and do that on purpose. My advise, if you see a group of guys wearing the "uniform" stay away.

I have noticed that "feelings" have a lot of influence these days!It doesnt matter what the facts are... if someones feelings are somehow hurt then the earth is moved to try and placate these people! Cant fly the Stars and Bars because it might hurt someones feelings... I have feelings and it is discomforting and makes me have negative psychological effects too when some other person can make others do as they wish over feelings! This is total liberal logic and bull shite!
