I am at a loss for words.

What moron would by this product? It says a warning, choking hazard. Do they think folks will believe a plastic penny is less of a choking hazard than a real one.

Having a kid myself, I can see why something like this would be purchased. To introduce kids to commerce while using "invaluable" money to conduct their transactions in the denominations that the "real" money is in.

Why wouldn't you just use regular pennies instead? Take out the copper ones, pre 82, of course. Are these plastic pennies actually larger than real ones? At least that would make some sense, being easier for kids to play with, less of a choking hazard, etc.
