This may be the last gasp of this weather, I hope so.

By this time tomorrow and take note my posting time they say , there maybe 1/4 ice on the trees and power lines.

I hate ice, all other ways mother nature can attack , ice is the one I really hate.

Next 24 or so hours will be interesting!

Good space to bitch.

Edit: some reading this will get more than what they say my area will get.

If so I feel for you , guarantee your power will go out if your power lines are above ground.

Ditto... Ice is the worst weather IMHO! No way to control a vehicle once you break traction! I think that March will be a cold and snowy month. Normally March would be milder... but this year is the exception around here.

For the states around the almost completely frozen Great Lakes, there may be a late spring and short summer?

Tenant was discussing how he was going to plant corn this year. He thought he would plant the rows east to west because some researcher had found that this gives the plant a better exposure to carbon dioxide due to the prevailing winds from the west and he expected better yields. This same researcher was reporting on the low levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and said he could position a sensor a quarter mile downwind from a diesel tractor and detect when the tractor was turned on.

Seems we need more CO2 for global warming to come about and plants to grow.

Not fun!

Last bad ice storm to hit here was in 2000, this one may match it.

Nothing like waiting for the power to go out, it has "blinked" once already, while listening to the snapping and popping of tree limbs breaking and falling all around me. Trees are falling all over my town and taking the power in those areas with them. If the tree is within a block you can hear and feel them fall and hit the ground.

I hate ice more than any other kind of storm, all one can do is grit your teeth and pray nothing falls on your house.

Not fun at all!

Doesn't show any break in the pattern there, yet.

And they move East in waves.
