Due to the idiotic actions of get this, a firearms dealer with an indoor shooting range with sour grapes over another dealer geting the rights to sell Swiss Arms rifles he complained to the RCMP and gave them a variant to test in their lab and the decision came down last Wednesday night.

2,000 Swiss Arms rifles and ~10,000 CZ858 rifles went from being Non-Restricted to Prohibited overnight cause they can be converted over to fully automatic even though it is already against the law.

Since it is impossible to qualify for prohibited status unless you were grandfathered in when Bill C-68 came down you cannot get prohibited status on your license thus all these firearms must be turned in for destruction or you are a criminal.

The word coming down from the RCMP is that this is just the beginning and they have a lot more firearms to ban, i'm thinking anything with a semi auto action because basically any rifle can be converted to Auto if you have the know how.

Now thousands of firearms owners are mad as hell on full hostile mode as these firearms were cleared by the same RCMP lab back 12 years ago.

These particular Swiss arms rifles run $3,000 to $4,000 a piece and no compensation is being offered.

Thousands are writing MP,s and the prime minister Steve Harper to get this ruling overturned because they are not elected officials but i already here the minister for public safety has already signed off on it.

All this on the heels of the RCMP High River gun grab last summer in the floods.

Bastards want to leave us defenseless for whatever they have planned next.
