Yeah, I had the same exact thought. How ironic that a fake phoney fraud sanctimonius chicken hawk like the windbag "Lurch" Kerry be the one delivering the whiney protestation. Especially when one considers that the US government spent $5 billion fomenting this Ukrainian coup while millions of Americans go cold and hungry. The word 'hypocrisy' is missing from their lexicon. Logical consistency and a sense of 'honor' are subordinate to their pathological quest for power and exaggerated overestimation of the stupidity of the audiences of their 'inferiors'.

I think I've identified a previously unarticulated phenomenon that extends the importance of the Milgram experiments. People will abandon their common sense when they are asked to believe lies they are being told by 'authority' figures. The authority figures understand this, so they feel that they have no need for logical consistency. This I believe is the root of their hypocrisy. People who are devoid of authority do not have this 'shield'.
