The U.S. debt is $346,681,016 and has remained stable since 1878. Hasn't changed a penny by act of Congress.

The 14th amendment government formed in 1868 is what is in trouble. They haven't bothered to correct their ways so likely will not survive. Expect a much more radical government to replace them because the original morals that were around when the country was first formed are no longer restraining factors.
