Yes, all the time. They don't need you to give them your email. They'll figure it out. Brave New World.

Ponce? I believe the real reason that Google is after you is that they want some of your TP. I would give them about 10 rolls from your TP stash and see what happens. :)

That's what you get for looking at KIA's.

Hey Ponce, I bought a brand new Kia Soul last year and it's the best car I've ever owned. Super reliable, good on gas, comfortable and a great sound system. The Soul gets the franks seal of approval. :)

yes I find that too. The subject of YT videos I see when I go there are all based on searches I did 5 minutes before on google. that kind of thing.

VHmmmmmm................That is a good point. They probably would keep asking you for more PT until they get enough to where they became the new TP King. :)

What you are seeing is the cross-domain cookie that is placed on your browser. It works like this

1. visit page A, a car search site, enter in "kia"

2. on results page for page A, the URL contains /search-results/kia/2014 or something similar. This page also serves ads, the ad server picks up the URL the ad is loaded from. It also looks at the existing cookie value or sets a new cookie value

3. when you go to a completely different site, but which uses the same ad network, the ad server "knows" that "this guy is looking for a Kia" and it chooses which ad to serve, probably an ad for a local Kia dealer or whatnot.

How to fix it:

install Ad Block Plus after you install Firefox. That will block 99% of ads from ever loading on your pages, and, it will speed things up also (since the ads won't load, they don't take time to download).

I changed several of my internal settings so they couldn't spam and track me so easily.

Ponce you have to clean out your cookies, all the time. I have adblock and noscript and them cookies still mess up the results. Still have to get them cookies out. Sneaky bastards. I don't use the google bubble anymore because of this.

Ghostery seems to block services that track your activities. On some pages I see up to 20 outfits blocked that would otherwise be web bugs, ad networks and widgets monitoring.

Ponce,

You must run CCleaner and Glary Utilities religiously when you surf the net, as in several times each day:
