It's funny how times roll by, last post was 9/11 last year, and the one before that was 9/13/12, Jesus..... They say dependancy is a disease. The main reason that I came back was to post on some of the crypto currency threads that several members have started since I am currently into cryptos. Of course, I am still collecting silver art bars and I do not plan to give that up unless silver goes to da moon to the point where I can no longer afford it.

I'm doing the same, no internet at the apartment, and I'm not posting here on my phone.I did sell a decent amount of 1-oz 70's silver art bars (mainly holiday-themed and some low-rarity bars) to a local dealer in early 2011 when spot silver was between $43 and $47 and I used the profits from those sales to buy some Coca-Cola silver art bars and some rare silver art bars from private mints such as Duane Spellman's The Mint, Green Country Mint and Greathouse Productions. To this day, that was the best move that I made as a silver art bar collector because in 2011, the spread between the spot silver price and the collector premium on the rare bars that I was looking for was the lowest that I have seen. When spot silver went down from the April 2011 high of $49.85, the premiums on most of the rare bars that I bought have held up to this point. Those types of bars are keepers and when I find those types of rare ones because you will not see them very often even on ebay. I still hunt for silver art bars that are on my silver art bar wish list when I go to the LCS's and the coin shows.
