This is the first time that I have seen this crypto currency show up on the Crypto Currency Capitalizations website but apparently it took a huge dump based on this:

6

$ 46,203,717

$ 0.0047 (http://coinmarketcap.com/volume.html#mtc)

$ 538 (http://coinmarketcap.com/volume.html#mtc)

I have never heard of this crypto but there is a homepage. http://www.marinecoin.org/ The only reason that it got my attention was that it showed up on Crypto Currency Capitalizations site in the top 10 cryptos as the #6 largest crypto by market capitalization. I have no interest in it but I was just curious if anyone else that is involved in cryptos has heard of this crypto.

More scamcoins. I get pissed off that website posts them. It's stupid.I have to agree with you on this. It's nuts. There are 189 crytos listed there. The few threads that I started were just examples of the crypto craziness but I will stop posting them here from this point on. Based on the number of cryptos coming out, IMO a lesson here (for others) to learn is to not to chase every crypto that comes out. As far as I am concerned, BTC, DOGE and Credits (Cr) are the cryptos that I am currently invested in. I also have EMUcoin which I know is a premine (0.68%) coin but I am "drinking" from their fountain just for the heck of it to get some "free" coins. I will call Emucoin my "darkhorse" crypto that might breakout because of the EMU meme but I am not holding my breath on it.

I will tell you how they made the top ten list. That coin is 97.2% pre-mined. Do you know what that means? That means the creator of that coin personally holds 97.2% of every coin that will ever exist. Now, the coin is only two months old, so imagine that 0.05% more coins have been mined since then. Only those 0.05% are being traded, yet coinmarketcap.com will take the value of that 0.05% and assign it to the remaining 97.2% that are just being held. Look at his website, he is pumping and hyping his coin more aggressively than anyone else I've ever seen. He doesn't have to convince very many (stupid) people that his coin is valuable who are willing to pay a dollar or so for one. At that point, even though the volume of trading is only $1000, the whole market cap is calculated at almost $7 billion!!!! It's nothing more than one man cleverly using a faulty market cap analysis to make his coin look more valuable than it is!!! Everyone stay away from this scam coin!

How'd he reflect that market cap at 129th?

Crimey, that isn't just a submarine, that's a Trident Nuclear Powered submarine, or Dr. Evil's Big Player submarine.

Whatever it is, the guy has dough enough to go... anywhere he wants to.

A continued Nemesis is guaranteed to these markets with it, he's probably milking the last squirts of milk from the Chinese Bitcoin market's tit currently.

Marinecoin is like 99.99% premined, and coinmarketcap's flawed protocol will assign the value of that 0.01% which is tradable to the remaining 99.99% which is not. Look at the volume of trading, $1. $1? The joke is that with such low volume anyone would believe the guy holding the 99.99% of premined coins would be able to sell any of them. There isn't enough volume of trading to suggest that the guy could sell more than a couple hundred $ worth before crashing his coin to 0.

From starting out at around 46mil then pumping to #2,

suggests whoever is running that game has quite alot of room under their gas pedal.

Appears he has gone submarine again, can't even find on the radar.

edit there he is down the list at the 27th somewhere.

I see that market cap relies on minute to minute volume rather than true 24hr to place the horses.

strange movements how he is somehow able to remove available supply rapidly? yet keeps price relevant.
