Colorado House Passes **Forced** Vaccination Bill

Parents will have little choice over whether or not to have their children vaccinated in Colorado now, due to a bipartisan measure passed by Colorado’s House Health, Insurance and Environment Committee this past Thursday. Parents who intended to claim the ‘opt out’ available in a current rendition of Colorado’s current law, due to religious or personal beliefs, will find it much more difficult to do so.

HB 14-1288, which gained traction after recent whooping cough outbreaks, will require parents to complete an online ‘education’ module and get the signature of their health care providers confirming that parents have been informed of health risks and a ‘possible detriment to the community’ if their children go unvaccinated.

The bill was proposed by State Rep. Dan Pabon (D) as a means to make sure that parents weren’t just opting out of vaccines for ‘convenience,’ as he mentioned in a statement given to the Denver Post.


“Vaccine refusal results in higher rates of vaccine-preventable disease,” Pabon said. “This is a public health issue. These are very serious diseases.”

So is the state liable to pay out large sums of money for those children which the vaccine permanently damages? Because somebody has to take responsibility. If it's voluntary, then the responsibility falls in the individual, but if it's involuntary then that liability has to go somewhere.

If it's so safe, why are they scared to be liable in the event something happens?

Btw, forced vaccinations are like gun confiscation - a red line.

I've said this before, but that's how I got out of taking mandatory vaccines for the Cal State University system. I claimed I was a Jew and they let me get away with it.

I live in Colorado and have been following this story, and as easy as it is to sensationalize, the thread title is very misleading. There are no forced vaccinations, just forced propaganda:

So the parents will have to endure some propaganda and have their doctor sign a form that they have been propagandized. For concerned parents, while not enjoyable, this falls wayyyy short of forced vaccinations.

Also, one thing I can't get over, if these people are vaccinated, why are they concerned about people who are not? Aren't they immune to these diseases now?

Pertussis B which looks and acts EXACTLY like Pertussis A has no Vaccine for it.. I would ask the Doctors which strain of Pertussis they had. They won't know, as they are fucking clueless anyway.

Since the disease was NOT acquired naturally, the body has no NATURAL defense against it. So if any of you had childhood vaccines and are now 22 years old and up, you're most likely not protected by vaccines any longer.

I had strep throat about 3 years ago. I could tell by the feeling of swallowing broken glass every time I swallowed. Wife kept urging me to go to the doctor but I didn't. Loaded up on Vitamin C, D3, zinc, and magnesium and in a week I recovered. I haven't had strep since, even though my wife and daughter have had it they went and got Antibiotics. Doctor said that I better watch out or I might get it. I just smiled and said sure. Am I now immune to strep since I recovered from it naturally? I honestly don't know. But by all accounts I should of gotten it, as I obviously kissed my wife while she had it before administering antibiotics. My daughter would drink from my glass etc. Yet I never got a single symptom.

With streptococcus bacteria infections, I don't think you have a 100% immunity, since there are so many different strains, so you may get it again, but certainly since your immune system fought of one strain naturally, you would be better equipped to fight off another vs if you always killed it off with anti-biotics. Dealing with infections on a regular basis strengthens your immune system.

According to research I have read, if a child hasn't had antibiotic treatment before the age of 2, the risk of getting chronic immune system disorders like asthma, allergies and eczema is reduced by at least 50%. If they don't get vaccinated the risk is reduced by aprox. 90% according to one study I read years ago about comparing vaccinated vs unvaccinated children in the UK. So an aprox. ten-fold increase in asthma, allergies and eczema in mass-vaccinated children...

But on the topic, no one would make me vaccinate my child. I'd go ape shit, I don't care what laws are, you're going to have to physically make me do it do it, and that's not gonna happen.
