The gill breathers are starting to nest , tho with this weather ?
Been out twice and caught some very good messes, tho by water temp, it is still cold for them to start the dance they do to build beds and carry on. Weard year, go figure I stay away from fishing for 20 and the year that I start again, wow. Wacky!
But good fishing, but out of the box from what I can remember, seems the natural rules do not hold. But I am not complaining. Two trips and caught weight, is near 3o lbs before cleaning. Cat and brim/sunfish. Good eating.....
Ought a few crappies but all from the bank, and am sure due to the water temp, think! Crappies have not started yet here.. Just do not understand yet why when I have been out that I did as well as I did.
