The Problem (http://conventionofstates.com/the-problem/)

The federal government has overreached its Constitutionally established boundaries and has its hands in almost every area of our lives. Our children and grandchildren will inherit a bankrupt nation run by an inept bureaucracy.

The Solution (http://conventionofstates.com/the-solution-article-v/)

Article V allows us to call a Convention of States to restrict the power, jurisdiction, and reach of the federal government, effectively returning the the citizens' rightful power over their so-called Washington DC leaders.

The Strategy (http://conventionofstates.com/the-strategy/)

State legislators and citizens working together can recover the problem checks and balances and limitations on federal power to ensure that our liberty is protected from the abuses in Washington DC.

What I don't get, is if the government already doesn't recognize the Constitution. What the hell will the Convention of the states accomplish again?

I fail to see the rational of holding a COTS to make changes to the Constitution that will just be ignored anyway....

The state of a bankrupt is bankruptcy. When bankrupts get together in convention I don't believe I would expect any earthshaking examples of shining morality. Just more smoke and mirrors.
