Some sections of the flatland portion on the western side of the Rockies, Colorado is at below sea level. The people living in Moab are gonna be in it deep. I remember driving down 191 into Moab during a snowstorm, after reaching a certain altitude, the snow turned into rain and you could see the line where that change occurred, snow to rain. That was a phenomena I'll never forget...
