Ok story has been confirmed by multiple sources so why show a photograph of the ship in question with damage to the bow? Why not take a photograph showing another part with no damage? They want us to believe somehow the damage to the ship is connected to the Su 24 flyby.

The US military (http://www.theguardian.com/world/us-military) said a Russian fighter jet made multiple, close-range passes near an American warship in the Black Sea for more than 90 minutes on Saturday amid escalating tensions in the region.
The official said the Russian Su-24 aircraft, or Fencer, made 12 passes, flying within 1,000 yards (900 metres) of the USS Donald Cook, a navy destroyer, at about 500 feet (150 metres) above sea level.
Ship commanders considered the actions provocative and inconsistent with international agreements, prompting the ship to issue several radio queries and warnings. The fighter appeared to be unarmed and the passes, which occurred in the early evening local time, ended without incident.
The official also said that a Russian Navy ship, a frigate, has been shadowing the US warship, remaining within visual distance but not close enough to be unsafe.
The USS Donald Cook was operating in international waters east of Romania. It was deployed to the Black Sea on 10 April, in the wake of the Russian military takeover of Ukraine's Crimea region and continuing unrest there.
Ukraine's acting President Oleksandr Turchynov on Monday called for the deployment of United Nations peacekeeping troops in the east of the country, where pro-Russian insurgents have occupied buildings in nearly 10 cities. The gunmen are demanding more autonomy from the central government and closer ties with Russia (http://www.theguardian.com/world/russia).

WTF is the USS Donald Duck or any US Navy ship doing in the Black Sea???

It would be like Russian war ships floating around the Great Lakes. They don't belong there.

I get the definite impression from that photo that the damage in the photo was a result of not cutting the power to the anchor winch in time. Perhaps the crew was so distracted by the Su-24 that they were busy soiling their shorts and brain farted while hauling up the anchor.

Well according to the same reports the Su 24 was flying unarmed so were they expecting a kamikaze attack?

Not very observant are you.......to busy being a traitor to your country and falling all over yourself about the russian plane buzzing the US warship that you cannot even discern that the ship is designed that way.

Hahahahahaha...!
