That whole fiasco setup by JR at the shooting edge outing the Swiss Arms 550 to the RCMP and them subsequently banning it along with 10,000 CZ semi auto rifles.

No one was going to do business there again, now several weeks later lots of peeps have forgotten as he is having a huge sale.

Gotcha! I watched his "apology" on boobtube the other night. Pretty lame if you ask me, but, if it wasn't him then it would be something other. The RCMP have a political agenda (UN Small Arms Treaty) and while the Prime Minister gives with one hand, his other hand running the puppet agency (known as the RCMP) taketh away. JR was either duped, programmed or just used as a jumping point for the "cops" to continue the program. I've been sending some pretty stern letters and e-mails to the conservative party in my area as well as the Prime Minister's office. This latest grab really pissed of a lot of firearms owners and from what I'm hearing, there won't be to many handing them in. Btw, the government has granted a 2 year amnesty in the meanwhile so as not to make thousands of "law abiding" citizens into criminals just yet. Thanks for clearing up what the fuss was about.......

Canada has f-ed up gun laws. The metric used to determine if I'm allowed to own a certain firearm is how scary it looks. That's a bizarre system too. I can easily own a 10.5" AR SBR [NATO firearm], but not an AK. I love my CZ Pistols CZ83s. Absolutely, dead on out the box and used as fuck for training in the CZ. Too fucking bad the USi chose to shoot first. Just have to carry ammo is the drawback. I only have a couple thousand to shoot. I dont target much, I can hit dead nutts even though I am half blind.
