i was organizing a bunch of stuff today, and i stared noticing price tags. my 8 year old honeyville buckets were $79.99. now they are around $119. can of butane fuel that were $0.99 are now almost $4. etc. on and on.

there's no possible way i could have amassed what i have at today's prices. no inflation my ass.

I know what you mean, I just stocked up on fuel and oil filters for my diesel engine. Had to order online to get them. Couldn't believe the price I had to pay for these filters they just keep going up and up in price.

I wish I had ordered more when they were cheap. I'm stocked up now, but man, what does the future hold.

Anything you need will be in short supply and high in price, if it is even available.

Stores will be full of useless junk from China.

There is your growth keeping the big board up in the green.

Vehicles are something I gather up as parts are expensive and if another "30's" hit's us they will be worth more than gold.

Well the good news is someone who does start prepping today will able to post the same thing ten years from now.
Preps will probably be needed soon by then.

Most American can no longer worry about being a "prepper", but only about being able to eat today.

the last year or so she's like "why do we have 200 of these, can you stop buying them?" she would notice. i'll tell you on thing though, when the apocalypse hapens, everyone is going to want to be the friends with the guy with 400 stoves, 300+ butane canisters, and over 500 1 pound propane cylinders. there's a little hyerbole in there, but not by much.

Chad, I have to ask, when you sent me that smoker, was Mrs. Chad like yes! Chad gave away a stove, we are making progress..

BTW, I still hope to repay you some day for that.

I love that smoker man. Cook fish with it all the time. That and the Origo is what I do 99% of my cooking with. I think it's the coolest thing too that they both run on denatured alcohol. I have 5 gallon cans filled with the fuel.
