I think I'm going to make one and just burn wood to heat it.

The amount of energy he needs to convert it back to any usable form would negate any environmental benefit, imo.

Plastics are best if separated then recycled into some sort of building material. Remove the need for chopping a tree.

If only someone could figure out a way to convert recycled youtube video's into oil, they'd be rich I tell you...Bitcoin rich.

At the end of winter, I burn all my baler twine in the burn barrel. It turns to an oil like substance that soaks into the ashes in the barrel and then wicks up in a controlled burn like an old kerosene lamp over several days. I've often wondered if that oil could be refined and reused.

I am working hard on my first prototype machine that will convert ice cubes back into water. It will be good for places that are normally too dry. Put a large chunk of ice into the hopper and get almost a 100% conversion into cool clear water.

Exactly! I am thinking of making a rig to convert this plastic here, there are no recycling places taking plastic. I have a ton of glass with nowhere to go also so I just dump it down the mountain in an effort to gain more useful property.
