I need a new car but it seems I can't buy one. I purchased one 2 year ago, brand new. Wait for delivery. 3 months no car. 4 months no car. When I ask where is car I got no answer. Not even an excuse or ETA but no reply just blanked so I cancelled. 2 months ago I try again. Need finance. Go to biggest Co. Used 2 times before. Ball is rolling, then nothing. No contact, no replies. No nothing. No new car. Seems no one wants to sell me a car.

I think they are over priced by at least 30% anyway and probably more when you add finance costs. We pay more than most other countries for cars. A porsche down here will set you back $250K. A small pickup is $50K. A VW Golf will cost you $35K+.

So these guys can't discount the cars too much otherwise they will kill the 2nd hand market values.

They can't send us any of those cars because we are wrong hand drive. Except maybe UK ones but they don't meet the standards we have.

That is beeeee- eewwww-teeeee-ful. The dopes are not in tune with their market. Seems to be a pretty common problem in management of companies today. Dopes making decisions and these decisions will destroy the companies.

You might be flagged due to other actions you might have taken in the commercial realm?

The captain of the enormous cargo ship sat happily at the helm. His ship's engines chugged along uninterrupted and the captain congratulated himself with being such a wonderful master of this unequaled behemoth. Smaller vessels would get out of his way and he relied on his crew to keep topside up.

But today his crew were out of sorts. They tired of being berated by the captain for things the captain did not like. It seems that they all told the pompous captain just what he wanted to hear. Always a "yessir!" or "by your command" and the captain would smile smugly and the crew would amble on unscathed, hiding when they should have been watching.

The ship plowed into the loading dock ahead of schedule and from the bridge there wasn't even a shudder. The ship's hull began to peel and the dock arrayed with various ships was minced instantaneously. Still the ship steamed on... chugga chugga the engines pushed proudly on.

The ship reached land and began taking down bayside skyscrapers. Finally when one large enough was hit, glass and metal debris landed on the bridge yet the engines chugged on full speed ahead. The captain still ignored the debris and called in a cleaning crew to get working. There was no other warning to the captain until the spine of the hull hit the reinforced concrete of two large buildings, snapping the entire vessel to a jarring halt. Still, the engines droned on pushing the pinned vessel into its deadly moor.

The engine of car production keeps churning out vehicles because the ship's captain does not know that the car market has run aground.

This really speaks volumes to the state of the depression. This is reminiscent of shooting pigs and burning them to keep deflation at bay. Throwing oranges in the ocean and shooting at anyone trying to fish them out. They can't let these cars go for less than their manufactured price else the booming luxury market would suffer. They'd rather eventually scrap these out or let them rot to prolong the illusion that there is a demand for these cars when clearly there is not.

This is bizarre and frightening and still not surprising which is more frightening.
