New York City police have recovered an arsenal of weapons inside a Brooklyn apartment.
Police say hundreds of rounds of ammunition, handguns, revolvers, a rifle and eight swords were found at 175 Dahill Road in Bensonhurst on Thursday. Sergeant Jeremy Berson and officers Atara Ashford and Christopher Santiago made the arrests, according to the NYPD.
The New York Post says four people who lived in the apartment, 36-year-old Bashkim Sylmetaj, 42-year-old Michael Sylmetaj, 38-year-old Adam Sylmetaj and 32-year-old Zenaida Vaysberg, were arrested on charges of criminal possession of a loaded weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

It's even more embarrassing when the Norwegian media does the same thing, they even include competition .22s and antiques.

I thought it was embarrassing how a couple hundred of rounds ammo is included in the definition of arsenal, by NYPD. Most folks blow through that in a day at the range!

Media folks are completely out of touch with reality. They jumped on this case like flies on shit because it fits the agenda.
Looking at the photos it seems like at least 2 of the guns displayed are air guns.

Yup, I know man. For some reason this article tickles my funny bone. It is absolutely hilarious, imo.
If that photo is a huge arsenal, what would a regular arsenal be? lol.

One Hi Point 9mm carbine, a Bryco .380, and a couple of Brazilian revolvers, all very cheezy guns, and then 234 rounds of ammo = HUNDREDS of rounds of ammo - THIS is "an arsensal"? lol I'm sure a Glock, a handful of Glock mags and an ammo can full of ammo would make them soil their shorts.

LOL This is what constitutes an "arsenal" in New York? HA HA HA HA
I had more weapons than that at 15 years old. I won't even detail what I have now on a public forum. But I feel safe in saying that most if not all GSUS members have a larger "arsenal" than that.

When I was 11-12 years old all the long arms in our household were hanging UNLOCKED (GASP!!) in rackS on the wall of my bedroom (and I had the ammo as well).

Didn't those people have any steak knives in the house? No bread knives? No scraps of extra pipe?
I think I have an arsenal of butter knives that would rival this Brooklyn arsenal.

Whats an 'arsenal'?
Im pretty sure the scribbles of 'politicinas' say that an 'arsenal' is a place of manufacturing firearmas. (last i checked)
But in the world we live in, an 'arsenal' is more than 1 handgun, more than 1 box of ammo, or whatever the liberals tell us it means.

The article says they "recovered" the arsenal. Recovered it from whom? Was it missing, or declared stolen? Last time I checked stealing someone elses property was considered theft, not "recovery".

You can thank Pravda (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pravda) for that.....

I will have to remember that if I ever get pinched for "wrongful appropriation". I will tell them I was just recovering the items.

I see a green glass bottle, was that part of the arsenal? I suppose you could hit someone pretty hard with a glass bottle and it could hurt. Also, you have to laugh at the samurai swords, I bet none of them are even sharpened, as you can buy them just like that from the mall and they're really more decorative than functional. I'm really surprised they didn't include the forks and spoons they found in the kitchen.

What's hilarious about this photo, is look at how much time they must have spent preparing this arsenal for a photo. The 8 codeine pills are lined up perfectly....I bet they wish they found 9 pills instead of 8. Seems like one is missing. All the swords are pointing towards the center, the guns pointing towards the center, the scary ammo set up. They even recovered 3 cell phones as a bonus.
A lot of time went into this photo. You can tell these goons were very proud of their recovery.

My son bought a set of three samurai swords like that when I became 42, I think he paid the equivalent of $10-15 for them, a corked fork would probably be a more lethal weapon. In retrospect the shop who sold them should be warned of the consequences selling weaponry like these to unlicensed 7 year olds...

Have you ever held one of those cheap chinese swords? They're completely blunt and if you ever tried to actually hit something with one, the dull blade breaks clean off the cheap wooden handle.

I never tried to hit anything with one of mine, but the blade was so blunt I couldn't cut through air with it...

When I was a teenager my friend and I bought a couple of them, we tried to hack the tree in the back yard, and the first thing that happened is the blade fell off. Yep, truly dangerous weapons, you can arm a small army with them!

You can 21" Gerber blade machete with a root saw on the back.
It is wicked sharp and a serious death dealer in defensive situations.
Sport authority sells them in the camping sections

It's extremely easy to very seriously fuck someone up (as in dead, dying, or maimed for life) with a single strike with the cheapest POS machete you can find and it need not be 'sharp'. Don't ask me how I know.

Thankfully no turds know this information. They might force LE to respond with deadly force in self defense measures. There's no deadly weapons here.
We wouldn't want that. Imagine cops having to deal with this type of aggression. Imaginable.

But it doesn't justify killing someone if they happen to have one, or a few, lying around.

But it doesn't justify killing someone if they happen to have one, or a few, lying around.I have always owned a good mil spec or better machete since a kid a good machete is a must to have , and now with all the mex's here they all seem to favor the same, chain saws , we do not need no fringing chain saws for small stuff, they drag out the long blades.
But a gun will kill way out of the arc of any knife,
Cops that kill ones that have a knife, at stand off range are cowards and in a hurry. to get off shift to go drink a beer or better.
Knife/machetes are close in weapons, that can not harm at any distance. Deadly yes for sure, but very limited range.
Bang, trumps swing...!
Always!
Did I say the cops were cowards?
